Fyi clothes in thrift stores can absolutely be "mass produced" pieces. Just that they were likely mass produced years ago and people don't wear it anymore which in turn makes that piece you found unique

You don't have to wear slim fitted clothes, you can actually just wear comfortable pieces while still looking effortlessly classy and chic, especially in modern days.

if you are talking about wearing straight fit clothes in similar style to David gandy I do agree however if you are talking about wearing anything baggy or oversized then you are wrong. This works only for women , men wearing baggy clothes is never classy.

Quiet luxury? Don't you mean the way normal, well adjusted adults have always been dressing while kids were into wacky trends? Its as if kids are suddenly dressing like their mom's accountant and calling it ''quiet luxury'' because it sounds cool, lol.

So basically we made a complete turnaround back to heeding advice from ‘teachingmensfashion’, ‘Alpha.m’, and ‘Real Men Real Style’ now. I am not going to lie they helped me when I first strated getting into mens fashion and stuff but I would say that their advice like u said was very elementry and not very in depth. After all it felt more like when a company tries to appeal to the youth. It produces a bit of traction but does not really go anywhere. For me the channels that really helped me after the first phase of fashion were channels like Tim Dessiant, Brandon Balfour, Park your smith, and etc.... But I feel bad sometimes seeing the guys who got me into fashion being made fun of.

I’m not a logo guy at all… it’s hard sometimes when I like a certain piece. Really small logos I get away with depending on the item, but I definitely can’t do the big logos or crazy designs etc all over the shirts or pants you name it. I’ve got a friend who’s the total opposite… loves dressing in his Polo, LV, Dior etc everything he buys to look the part. P.S. were both just 20 years old still living at home with our parents I imagine eh spends majority of his money on designer.

I'm nowhere near being rich, but I've always disliked the hypebeast folks and people who wear huge logos advertising how much they spent on their clothes. I've always been partial to no logo / no brand minimalist aesthetic from the likes of Cos , hopefully one day I'll be able to afford clothes with that same aesthetic but from luxury brands

  • @Splashpeach
    @Splashpeach Рік тому +13

I've noticed a bunch of these channels popping up recently, and all they do is tell you to do or buy certain things to become some kind of main character, which is total nonsense.
Finding high-quality thrifted pieces can be pricey, and completely tailored your entire wardrobe isn't cheap either.
They say, "Someone else might end up wearing the same outfit as you," yet they're making a video encouraging people to wear the same stuff.
If you're looking for quiet luxury, just head over to Zara or H&M because that's exactly what they're all about. Stop wasting time trying too hard to be different.

If you think this style looks cool, you should dress this way, if you think a t-shirt and jeans looks cool, you should wear that. I can't possibly think of anything more insecure than restricting yourself from wearing what you want because you don't make an arbitrary amount of money.

@@fearless6947 it has nothing to do with money, at least to me, it's just a cool style of clothes, if anybody asks me I don't lie and say I'm a billionaire. If they assume that, I don't care, because I don't care about what anybody thinks. If I drive a 1965 Ford mustang, I'm not trying to convince people I live in 1965, it's simply a cool looking car. I spent most of my childhood at Institut Le Rosey (a small private school), I can tell you that no one ever wore Birkenstocks unless we were trying to blend in in certain areas. This doesn't go for the girls just the men. Also when you say well made shoes you're not telling your viewer what that means, you're looking for Goodyear or Blake welted shoes which can be fairly inexpensive all the way up to thousands of dollars a pair.

    "quiet luxury on a budget"
    it doesn't make any sense.
it's like saying "how to be rich without cash"
the whole point of "quiet luxury" is that you're SO rich, that you are able to afford the "special" or "custom" versions of expensive brands which are 10x the price that they'll normally have.
for example, if a "normal" loud and bold versace shirt costs $1000, there is a "quiet luxury" version which is either custom-made or only through special order and costs $10,000.
what you presented is NOT quiet luxury, but to simply have good style on a budget.

    luxury on a budget
    LUXURY on a BUDGET
Do you even know the meaning of those two words? xD Beacuse it's something that don't exist, it's an oxymorone. You are either luxurious, either on a budget.

No socks with highwater pants is always a douchebag look. Wear socks. Dress like an adult. Lots of common sense info here.

I have to disagree somewhat on two of your points. If you have healthy hair and do not put wax or gel in it, don't shampoo it at all! Just wash it with water, ideally naturall water from the Sea or a clean lake. Also I do not recommend people using perfume too much. If you are a young man that is hygienic and sporty, women will LOVE your natural smell. Great video otherwise
