Congratulations teacher. Sorry to tell you that you went wrong with the example word Mother. The o in Mother is pronounced as the u in Cup . The phonemic symbol is the upside down V . You wrote the schwa sound symbol the upside down e .The word Mother is stressed on the first syllable as 'Mother. Schwa never comes in stressed syllable. Never mind. I'm a retired teacher and I've taught phonetics for 40 years. Okay.

Sir but she meant not that sounds I think.She doesn't mean sound for o she meant 'er' sound that is ˈmʌðɚ the last sound.That example is correct right.She is teaching the symbols in this video not stress and also she is not transcribing words .Just said the word.Hope you understood
