BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!! This might be the best comment ever. I’ll push out a video for how to patch holes in your forehead next. 🤣🤣🤣 Have a great day Thomas!
For anyone here who is trying to make a big poster wall like me blue tack is going to be your best friend. Tape sometimes the answer for smaller things like newspaper clippings, clothing tags, etc but I recommend blue tac for anything bigger than the average piece of paper you can also mix it with candle wax to make it stickier. I typically always do that people say that if you make it hot, it’ll get sticker, but there’s something about candlewax that just keeps it that way, even if the candle wax is completely dry. 😊
Billy Mays here! Try Hercules Mother... Hooks! Seriously though, look into different types of hooks, they have a sharp end to push the back of the hook through the drywall, then you just push it in and you get a small hook that holds 100-150lbs. They are very very strong.
I'm confused, the question is how do we hang stuff when we're not allowed to put holes in our walls. Pushing 2 prongs/teeth into the walls will put 2 holes into the wall.
I tend to break these types of steps into separate videos focused on that issue. Here’s one that will help with repairing/filling those holes: Repair Drywall Holes - Basic Drywall Repair for Beginners ua-cam.com/video/qUIOur-JsM4/v-deo.html
but aren't these things still putting a hole in the wall? I'm one of those people who aren't allowed to put any holes into the walls in my apt. I was told finishing nails leave a very small hole but if I use the Claw is there an easy way to cover up the small holes it leaves?
Exactly, instead a drilling a hole this thing leaves several holes in the wall! Not sure where you're coming out ahead with this product, in fact I'd rather fill one hole to fix it rather than 4 smaller holes that still have to be fixed!
Was wondering if you tried pulling on the 25lb weight like you did when the extra 10lbs were added. Does the hook also fly out of the wall when you pull? I ask because I'm about to try and use the claws to hang a bulletin board and I don't want it coming down on unsuspecting people if they lean against the bulletin while talking.
@@kooperbeebug This is a great question… And I did not test this. I would say that it would require a lot of force to pull two of these out of the wall at once. However, if it were me, I would go with a larger size claw for the weight that you are trying to hang. If you think they will be pulling down on the board, this would be my only concern. However, if they are only leaning up against it, I can’t see how this would be an issue. But, I have not tested that. I hope this helps!
I hate 3M products. I've tried Command hooks. They peeled off not only paint, but chunks of drywall. I was okay with Polyfilling in pinholes. You can't really make out where the nail holes were. But I had to plaster where the Command hooks were, leaving visible patches. Just good ol' fashioned nails and metal picture hooks have worked fine. When the lease says no holes in the walls, what they're mainly asking for is not an overly abundance amount of nail holes, and no large holes where pests can enter the home. There might be a small amount taken off the damage deposit for painting, but if you fill in the holes and they're not very noticeable, some landlords turn a blind eye, especially if the rest of the unit is in good condition.
I hated them, purchased them before I saw this, and it was VERY difficult to push into our drywall. Ridiculous. I had to use a hammer eventually. At least now I know what the V-shaped pad is for now!
@@ReluctantDIYersI just came across this video tonight but I actually used a couple claws last night to hang a large art piece-they were ridiculously easy to put in without any effort on my part (put two 45 pound rated claws fwiw).
Hey Craig, thanks for watching and responding! If that nail is making contact with a stud, I totally agree. If it’s not going to be anchored in a stud, I wouldn’t use a nail. I’ve seen nails, by themselves, fail too many times with weights over 5-10 pounds. Have a great day!
Thanks for this great review. I pushed one into my forehead and now I can carry and extra bag around, although I can no longer see in color.

Not recommended, but not a bad idea either.

Technically I said, without “drilling” holes… 🤣
But these small holes are SUPER easy to repair without any major work.
Thank you! At first I was worried this was just going to be a sales pitch for this product, but I appreciate the review!
You are very welcome! Thanks for watching and sharing your feedback!
It would've been great if you added the part on how to repair the small hole after taking the thing out!!

4:18 That suprised me. I thought if you put 2 near eachother ( not necessarily side by side ) that you could double the weight of a single one.
Unfortunately no. 😢
Can you post a video about getting wires into holes that are too small
Can you give me an example of what you mean?
defeated the whole purpose of the video.. you still created a hole in the wall
HAHAHAHA!!!! But it was a smaller hole… Lol!
It’s a terrible product.
Still leaves many holes in the wall.
Landlords will not like this if they don’t want ANY holes in this walls.
It can be a good alternative to drywall anchors.... which leave a giant hole in the wall
Yea it does leave very small holes similar to a nail. But if you look at the title it says big holes will not be made and that is correct.
Thank you 😁

Based on what I’ve seen with them, these holes are very tiny and can be spackled easily and cleanly.

@tncoltsfan In all fairness to the holes, they are SUPER small. 😳
Thanks buddy, I think you just saved me from electrocuting myself ❤
You are very welcome! Please do not electrocute yourself… that’s no fun. 😉 Have a great day!
Very informative. However, there will still be holes in the drywall. No good for apartment dwellers
They are tiny and do not fully penetrate the wall… if you want ZERO holes, command strips are your only option, but they do not hold weight. 😢

I forgot to mention. The bulletin board will need two claws 37 inches apart. It's an 11lb board.

No. I would not recommend these claws for curtains or rods. 👍🏼👍🏼

would this work with a clear shoe display shelf
I would not use these on any shelves. They are not made for that type of leveraged outward pressure from the wall. 👍🏼
Monkey hooks work well as well. Fill with a little caulking after and no one would ever know
