I'm trying to get a really small screw out of one of my lightsaber hilts
Absolutely the worst drywall anchor ever, .... if you have something heavy to hang and you can't hit the studs use 50 lbs monkey hooks, super strong, fast to install and only requires nail size hole
@@normrodriguez9306 Thx for sharing your opinion.
@reluctantDIYers any suggestions on how to fix this mess? Unfortunately we paid a company to come install our floors and this is how they left the trim

The previous owner of our home mounted the mailbox on 4" diameter concrete fill steel pipe (Lolly column). My neighbor said it goes at least 4 feet into the ground. He saw it put in. I've often wondered what would happen if a car ran into it.
WOW!!! Um, yeah, that seems like overkill. 😂😂
I would clean the toilet before I posted a video next time dude.
I actually did that on purpose… my wife wasn’t happy. 😂😂😂
Great success 👍😆
@@royparker2546 🤣🤣
is there somethign magnetic but doesnt involve drilling. i don't want anything permanent and want to keep pushing it if the car is not in the garage.
I personally haven’t seen anything like that. But it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Does anyone else know of any options?
Marking the date on the caulk it was bought is a great idea for someone like me who buys too much and only caulks maybe every other year 👍
EXACTLY! I cannot remember what I bought when, and I’m also not caulking every day. Who knew these tubes expired? 🤣🤣

Get thr flex it has dividers and it looks more sturdy
@@nofsgiven3855 I’ll have to check that out.
I'm embarrassed at how simple this was. My screens are very old and brittle I was afraid to give it too much of a push to one side. It worked! Thank you.
@@Legotron Awesome!!! I’m so happy this helped.
Crain 1/4 cutters are the best. Those cutters that you have to constantly move to change the angle suck.

Thank you. I bought a Diablo 36-tooth 4 1/2" blade for my Worx saw that I thought would cut dimensional lumber, but it won't even bite into the wood to move forward. Looks like I need a 24-tooth ATBR blade.
@@12thDecember Wow, that’s super odd. But I will say that the 24 tooth blade makes those cuts super easy as long as you don’t care about having a highly “finished/clean” cut.
Why does everyone else put perform DeWalt stackable system. Tough system is the best
@@joesokol7453 I definitely love mine!
I wish I could trade all my DeWalt stackable and go to tough system much better thought out. Why would you want a large open drawer with tools sliding all over
@@joesokol7453 I have a pad in the bottom of one drawer to limit sliding. The bottom drawer holds more bulky items I use frequently and they don’t slide much.

@@salfrmarketing WELCOME!!!
@@ReluctantDIYers Is it possible since I am in an apartment building that the landlord can "fix" the level of water we get to the toilets? however, the tank fills so high I think it might overflow if I adjust tank level for higher. What if the door is just to low do I need to buy a new shorter door
@@mrs.deanwinchester411 Is the entire door sagging? Definitely check the hinges and confirm that they are anchored properly. Or does it look like maybe the door was not installed properly (or maybe it’s just the wrong size door)?
If my window isn't even im calling the builder to redo it
If you measure all of the windows in your home, I would bet that none of them have the exact same measurements in all three spots… 😉
Will this work with the Tstak system ?
Great question! I do not have the Tstak here so I can’t test it. However, I would assume no unless someone in the community can verify otherwise. 🤞🏼
It should be stated that the primary difference in these caulks is their formulations; either Acrylic, Latex, Polymer, Elastomeric, Silicone, or combinations of those basic types. Explain why some are referred to as 'caulk' while other very similar products are referred to as 'sealants'. All come in a variety of grades from the most basic and almost useless bargain caulks, to fast dry caulks, to higher, hybrid formulations that promise extended elasticity and life expectancy. Most caulks, like most paints, have a basis that is acrylic and are designed to fill and smooth joints for painting. Sealants fill gaps to help prevent water, dust, pest, and air intrusion. Silicone sealants are used for interior wet areas like baths and showers and exterior wet areas such as windows and doors. Most acrylic caulks and sealants are readily paintable. Most silicone sealants are not paintable.

A good video, and you cover some important screw properties. Thank you! But, I feel like you missed the opportunity to "bring it all together" by providing some common applications and the screws that would be well suited for those applications because those screws have these properties, and maybe why these other screws would not be good for that application because they have these other properties. It might have been nice to include a "these are the screws that I keep on hand", with some explanation about how that selection helps cover many applications. Maybe an idea for a future video?
Thank you for sharing this! Yes, I do have a video planned to cover this and some other points. I just didn’t want this to become a super long video. 👍🏼
When you apply chalking around the tub what should you clean the surface with? Alcohol?
This is a GREAT question. I recommend an actual caulk removal spray because it’s specially formulated to lift the caulk from the surface. This is one of my favorite kits and it includes a great spray for this: amzn.to/3zoRLZb

$90 for a 1/4 sheet of MDF, 2 hinges, and 6 pegs. In addition, the hinge screws will rip out of that MDF sooner than later. That's a resounding "No." It may be a resounding "Yes," if you didn't actually buy it at all. They sent it for free, right?
@@ST-0311 That is correct. But in all honesty, I would have purchased it if they had not.
@@ReluctantDIYers To each their own. $270 for what amounts to 3/4 of a sheet of MDF is more than the cost of the 4x6 Centipede itself. That's nuts.
@ST-0311 👍🏼
@@ST-0311 I completely respect your opinion.
@@ReluctantDIYers Just to be clear, I'm not being critical of you. You made a good video. It's Bora's pricing of these things I take issue with.
I just sprayed it over top since the pins seemed stuck- would you use a lot of force with the hammer?
Sometimes if it is stuck, you may need to “convince it” to move with the hammer and screwdriver.
