    Is that mean if I use a blade with more teeth(let say 60), it's better running the saw at a lower rpm?

    • @ReluctantDIYers
      @ReluctantDIYers 4 дні тому

      Great question. I personally would not slow down the speed of the saw blade, if your saw has that feature. But the speed at which you push the saw through the material will be slower.

    • @luckychui

    Using the tip of the Phillips bit, won't it damage it as it meant for driving a screw only? Can I use a drill bit instead for the same purpose? Either way, how do I know the size of either the drill bit or Phillips tip if I don't know the size of the self-drilling anchor? The package reads #8 x 1-1/4 in. Nylon Drywall Anchors with Screws, Self Drilling

    • @ReluctantDIYers
      @ReluctantDIYers 4 дні тому

      Drywall is not a hard material that can hurt the Phillips bit. No concerns there. You can use a drill bit also. I would match the bit size to the tip of the drywall anchor (visually next to one another). From what I’ve seen, those tip widths vary by manufacturer.

    Yeah, but even after you had replaced the flush valve, those silicon rings should have lasted for years and years. This is a problem that usually only happens after long periods and use. If you have replaced multiple flush valves and still have the problem with that ring you either have a water problem or toilet design failure. Are you on a well? Do you have visible particulates in your water? Although you have found an easy way to replace the silicon sealing ring, it just shouldn't be happening. It looks like a Toto, is it? To test your flush valve; let it fill up as usual and then turn off the water supply valve. Let the toilet sit for some time and then check your tank level.

    • @ReluctantDIYers
      @ReluctantDIYers 7 днів тому

      I appreciate you taking the time to share all of this. I have run through these tests myself. After replacing the ring, I’ve let the water sit for days without issue. It feels as if there’s a design issue with the flush valve itself that may be causing the ring to fail? not sure. The toilet is an American standard.

    Hi I have a question about anchor from test 2 at 1:43 Can I use them for 55 inch TV that weights 13kg? I would be using at lest 4 anchors.

    • @ReluctantDIYers
      @ReluctantDIYers 7 днів тому

      @@DusanPuzigaca I have a rule with TV’s and their wall mounts. Do not ever rely on a drywall anchor as your primary support method. Please anchor the TV in studs. Most mounts are wide enough to do this. And with a full motion mount, you can position the TV however you would like. 👍🏼

    • @ReluctantDIYers

      I hung up some curtain anchors and had tried using drywall anchors. I found the drywall anchors were spinning at the end even though I hand tightened them. I hammered them in most of the way though. Do you think that was a mistake?

    • @ReluctantDIYers
