People tend to forget about Too Cool, but back in 2000 they were getting crowd reactions that were absolutely incredible. In the STACKED talent roster that was the Attitude Era, a team like Too Cool could have so easily been lost in the shuffle, but Brian and Scott went all in on the gimmick and it showed. Adding Rikishi was that last element that really made everything work, and all three guys worked hard to earn the crowd pops they were getting.

We loved The Rock, Sting, Too Cool and to watch this stuff with her was always a pleasure. She died in 2018 at the age of 31. It's weird to suddenly be older than your older sister. I miss her every day till the day i die and i always think of the 90s and early 2000s and the time i had with her. Being an adult sucks. Being alone sucks even more. Too Cool and Rikishi were the Attitude Era in that they embodied the best parts of that time and what we fans point to when we think back.
The five person dance with The Dudley's is TV Gold.
Hell anytime they got the other team to join in was brilliant and as mentioned, their dancing at Royal Rumble 2000 was the highlight of the match.

Great work highlighting what an incredible tag-team Too Cool were.
I actually missed their tag-team title reign as the wrestling shine wore off for me in the late 2000's but these guys, and The Dudley's, were IMO the greatest tag-teams we have ever seen in WWE.
They produced Gold out of their Character work AND Ability in the ring. Nowadays, the emphasis is on, if you are booked to win, you should be popular. Wrestlers aren't getting the chance to push their characters through clever, natural promos, and lack of screen time means low engagement from the fans ultimately.

I remember this whole run. They were just too damn funny, you couldn't believe how ridiculous it was but they just kept going with it. I kept waiting for them to attack each other and break up the team and to try to be "serious" wrestlers and the fact it never happened was amazing. It's an example of how a gimmick can be kind of dumb but if you really, really sell it and stick to it it can get over.

They really are a great example at really trying everything possible to make it work for something you love
Taylor with the anchor of jobber around him and Christopher with a shadow of a King over him really made their own paths to success which us a massive credit to their character and determination
