Hmmm...You're right Bailey. They do sound very much alike in that one section. Ha! I never thought about it. I do know that this is one of the Waymasters oldest songs they do. And I've never heard another version done this way either. The song and the way they do it was passed down from the father of the bass and tenor singer.

This is a Dr Ralph Stanley song. The best I ever heard it sung was on the Opry stage by Patty Loveless and Ricky Skaggs.
