Imagine walking down a retro-futuristic street amidst light drizzle, looking up at all the full motion advertisements on the building sides à la Blade Runner style with this song playing in the background.

I pre ordered this album in 2014. I got it and it didn't leave my car's cd player for over 2 months. This song is perfect. I usually don't like vocals in synth wave, but hers are legendary
“I know it’s too hot outside to run I’ll wait until the Midnight hour when the buildings block the sun” This passage mystifies me. I wonder what story is being told here? What do they mean by it? Does this take place in a world with no sunset and the planet’s surface only temporarily cools when the sun goes below the city skyline?
To me this means that: i cannot leave home in daylight because i am to scared of people and too paranoid to meet someone that i don't want to meet. Only nights and shadows are safe to me.
Whenever i listen to this all i can think of is a global nuclear holocaust and the imagery of thousands of cities all being obliterated within minutes.
Don't fuck wit them pentagrams, but ya maniac synth made a kick-ass music video that got taken down (because it was too kick ass) that's the only way I know about this
There was a synth music channel called 'Maniac-Synth' but youtube shut him down because of copyright violation (even though he said he didn't have his channel monetized) and he had made this music video for this song made using 1980's OVA high budget anime sweeping city shots and it was actually super dope. But ya, they took him down, it still bums me out because he would upload new synth music literally every day
I know of the vid you're talking about! That's how I found out about Pertubator myself. I believe he used images from the Anime movie Akira. Last time I saw it was uploaded on dailymotion a couple of months ago.
the 5 min 07 second version.. is much cooler.. the beginning was cut out.. yes.. I think it's skipping from somewhere around 01:11 to 2:21.. cut that part out.. track made more awesome..

cloudparter Read the lyrics. James willingly did this to reflect the loss of humanity of the character"Now that I'm a weathered Machine", you didn't notice Hayley's voice is heard fine ? This is one of his most advanced song.
My walk to the bus station has turned into a legendary adventure through this song...
And when I got on the bus, it seemed to me that I was in the pilot's seat of a B-47 or B-52... wasn't it?
usually i don't like vocals on synthwave tracks but the female vocal part here is truly on another level. so damn good.
hey man, credit where credit is due, hayley stewart is synthwave vocal magic
Incredibly sexy
Old Perterbator hits differently dude
I miss old perturbator!
@@minuit6305 Now, his stuff is a bit too intense for me but it is a matter of taste, I suppose.
The last albums are too strong for my taste, not even synth
damn, "Old Perturbator" 🤧🤧
"old". this stuff was intermediate. check out miami disco and disco girls for example

Soumyadeep Basu Exactly the thought I had. Should get him to score it if they go ahead with the tv series

The synth climax at the end. Such beauty.
This song gives me early cold war vibes, specifically strategic bombers from that era. B-36, B-47, B-52, B-57, etc
Tuplewave‘s amv using this song. Strong B-36 vibe
Mauzer wave forever!

After listening to this album one times, this is tentatively my favorite track.
Song just gets more emotional as it goes
i am so in love with this song.

I pre ordered this album in 2014. I got it and it didn't leave my car's cd player for over 2 months. This song is perfect. I usually don't like vocals in synth wave, but hers are legendary
Heard it first in my pal's car, the female vocal part mesmerised me until the end of time
If they do go ahead and make the Blade Runner series, I can't think of anyone better to score it
+Zim Zimma Perturbator and Protector 101
Him and Noir Deco would be perfect.
its so sad they made one without this, still good score but nowhere near this
dame driving in a early foggy morning in downtown would totally be a good time to play this
John Willingham or during the upcoming racewar after a battle
this song belongs to neon-lit night...
I just found this song a couple days ago and I've listened to it probably 7 times by now and this is number eight
The movie that plays in my head when I hear this song would be a box office hit! 🍿🎬😄
this song is good, but you know what makes it even better? B-36s and B-47s flying in formation

Soundtrack of my life.
I cant stop listening to this song. its Perfect.
Holy shit.... That's amazing...
This song is nothing without a B-36 peacemaker.
THIS IS MASSIVE.

This passage mystifies me. I wonder what story is being told here? What do they mean by it? Does this take place in a world with no sunset and the planet’s surface only temporarily cools when the sun goes below the city skyline?
Maybe their half machine bodies would overheat running under the sun of a dystopian world wounded by some catastrophic event
To me this means that: i cannot leave home in daylight because i am to scared of people and too paranoid to meet someone that i don't want to meet.
Only nights and shadows are safe to me.
Truly comes out at midnight
Who else here is from a certain video about US Strategic Bombers?

What an amazing Track!
very underrated track
Magnifique morceau. Les dernières pensées d'une âme damné... Est-ce que c'est notre destin?
This gives me 1990's Eastern Europe feels
The best song for depression
Que atmosférico joder!
master piece, thats all i can say
love at first beat :)
Whenever i listen to this all i can think of is a global nuclear holocaust and the imagery of thousands of cities all being obliterated within minutes.
music for love making in 80s ... Sensual Noir
Yesssss
This is so Blade Runner. Replicants in love.
Nope
Oh bro, my take is a billion times darker.

I remember that. That's how I first learned about Perturbator. I was upset when it got taken down.

Update on this. ManiacSynth aka SynthLord aka The Shadows Hand YT channel is back up again.
Very Cool 🤘😎

when things explode...
Why the fuck is this so perfect?
This song feels like being grown in an artificial womb
Why’s that so accurate….stop…
Your comment on point
Reminds me of Electric Dreams
"Post (?) Organic" song from Decapitated, for me, is a counterpart to this song, a death metal approach, lyric wise.
Those guys are gonna have some fun with her no doubt..
i love this song!
MEGA...
cant wait to play cyberpunk 2077 walking around Night City streets with this music in the background..
How do I find more music like this?
Junior Thompson More Perturbator songs a.a
+Anton Anon You mean Dead Astronauts with GosT or Perturbator with GosT? o.o
I recently got into the Stranger Things series, but I feel this would go great with scenes from that show.

is the full album out in stores?
Can i help me ?
please write lyrics.
I can not help me
When I was a small child
Obsessed with the future
I didn't believe in fate
I didn't believe in much of anything

I'd give it all, I'd give everything
To have you here to believe

Feeling the heat, but never the fire
I know it's too hot outside to run

When the buildings block the sun
I can't hide from fate
But I know I don't have time to wait
When the shadows cross my eyes

Paul V. The mixing was really bad with this track. You can barely hear the lyrics.

I love this song but I would replace "flesh and wire" with "steel and bone."
this should play at the end of gta6
anyone know the lyrics?
