The old ruined houses in alkout are about 200 years old and they've been abandoned and crumbled with time. Also qaisariah souq is one of the oldest in the region it was built back in 1822. Welcome to alhasa doug it's been a pleasure to see you exploring the city, hope you come back again and stay a little longer, there are still lots to do and see .
The old ruins in Kout were abandoned and because they were built with mud and grass .they were damaged over the time because of the rain. We do not have earthquakes in the area. Shoutout for ALHASA and its lovely people.

Hello, I am from Kuwait, and I am very happy that you are visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and you see the culture they have, and I wish you success.🙏🏻
Hi Doug, it's absolutely our pleasure to have you visited our city. Your vlog is incredibly amazing! In regards to your inquiry about the old buildings in the old town, they have already been abandoned and they get damages because of erosion. I think they are kept to preserve architectural heritage of historical and cultural value for place identity. Just to mention, Al-Hasa is a big city and one week is not enough to cover! However, your fingerprint in demonstrating some sides of the city was amazing for one-day trip.
I was born in this city and have nice childhood memories there. I still feel that I belong to it. Thanks Doug if your still around let’s meet up at Dammam have coffee and some tour.
