OMG Those DOORS, INDICATOR OUTSIDE, FIXTURES AND RELAYS ARE AMAZING!!!! Let's just hope someone uses this building, and they keep these amazing elevators!!!!
That's interesting that both interior doors open even if the exterior door is only on one side of the shaft. Wish you had stopped at some of the other floors, too.
the cab door look like siding you'd see on a house traveling vertically. Never seen anything like this till now. Guessing it's a hydraulic elevator being low rise and the level of noise from the power unit.
Riding in an abandoned building seems cool but I'd be really worried. If you get stuck and your the only one in the building you screwed unless you have cell phone service. Did Alex have a drop key in case the elevator got stuck?

Wow that floor indicator on the outside can really catch your attention. This elevator is really something else.
Such a unique elevator with a very cool vertical 4 speed door. Sad the building was torn down but at least you got to ride the elevator.
For a European freight elevator, this one is very nice, and it's hard to believe that Siemens made elevators.
+CaptainElevator42189 this one is from 1975. There are 4 more similar to this one in this building. One is broken.
@@DieselDucy what do NP & OP stand for?
The Vertical 4 speed doors are AMAZING!!!
I love the external indicator! It's like a garage.
That indicator looks like the old indicator from the NYC Macy*s, but this one's modern
Very interesting! The outside indicator caught my eye!
more elevators should have that kind of indicator.

Its pitch black down here - light sensor goes on theres light lol
Since the elevator haven’t been used in so long, the motor start it was so good!
That looks AWESOME!! I like the exterior indicator!!
+NW Indiana Elevators I know right ? It was amazing ! Wish there was something epic inside the car.
I would be scared to ride this thing alone knowing this place was abandoned.
Looks like a scary death trap. :D

I like your videos
I love these preheat fluorescent fixtures.
I like the sounds
The four speed doors are interesting, but that exterior floor indicator is too cool.
biggest indicator ever!
nice motor sound
It sure is!
Whoever named that company was really sick minded!!
It's supposed to be pronounced ziemens
I like how oone side opens to the floor level and the other one still opens into a shaft wall
I know right?
Is this a traction elevator?
And I bet with some restoration work this building could be used again because it actually looks in really good shape
sadly torn down.
what are BP and NP? that motor is fantastic.
It was ØP not BP. I think that ØP and NP are for "Upper Parking" and "Lower Parking".
I like the motor. What year was this place built?
JR Jackson Probably 1975. Most elevators are installed while the buildings are being built.
Are those 4-speed doors only on one side of the elevator?
+Ali Hafeez both sides

Are you from Denmark
Nice, if only you could pocket that elevator. Very cool.
Hydraulic?
Traction.
This is interesting... an elevator with a quadruple-speed door
I loved this elevator and the door is amazing!
that building is HUGE inside. elevator motor is excellent. what are OP and NP?
american keyboards can't do the / through the O.
Has a decent motor
I find it strange the elevator(s) are not shut down, being it is an abandoned building. Unless interior/exterior work is being done at some point.
Oh hell no I would never
Wow
EPIC MOTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
