Please apply critical thinking and speak to other Africans normallocals and to the Chinese locals on how wonderful everything is. We have to protect the sovereignty of our country and our citizens …
China worries me .. I once heard a saying “the Chinese will make apartheid look like a holiday”
I am concerned that only one side of the story is being told and either the EFF has been blind sighted or there are other nefarious agenda’s
How many Local jobs will the Chinese take .. there education and work ethics are way higher than ours.
The likelihood of the Chinese investing in industries in SA is that our people will be taken advantage of and become cheap labour.

Problem with these guys, they are.good with ideology and they know how to articulate it.
But they lack discipline. They are easily enticed by materialism and the love of soft life.

King David you have an soothing spirit that obviously is showing through this discourse with DP Shivambu, that has created a condusive space for an informative discussion. Seeing our DP this light and calm is such a beautiful sightseeing, this world could a better place if we have more people of your caliber and soul. Black men in conversation, much love and respect to you both.

Very informative... Strange that Shivambu advocates for China so much... No country can aid foreigns with no ill intentions... If China was partnering with Africa to develop the infrastructural skill, for Africa to develop itself, that would make sense. And this works against the Africa Trading amongst itself initiative, and as Mashabela has asked, yes it does creative a dependency on other countries, which can never be good.

They are gaining alot, he is merely saying they are not raping Africa, they might be bribing us for recourse unlike europe and US, China is offering something to be favored, theu are not ordering us around, any new discovery of resources China stands a better opportunity of being the first prefference i think that is what his saying 15:31

I could not agree more. There is no transfer of skill from Chinese companies. They build roads with their own laborers which doesn't make sense as these are common functions that Africa does. Mining as well. The African Leaders need to stick to their guns of transferring of skills because we are loosing out and they gain through unserviced debt.

very informative and it's common knowledge that China needs raw materials against of credits or finances projects . Nothing is free , normal trade . The main trading partners of China are US and EU , Africa is important for everybody as raw materials supplier. The main African issue is corruption, until it is fixed - nobody can help , even China.

On China he seems abit naïve.

China has no resources beside humans and technology. Africa has all, the human ability, natural resources awaiting transformation. The greatest risk in Africa is leadership, they are greedy, They often govern outside the mandate of the electorate, as such they seek power from west, east and north. These give at huge cost, externalization of African resources. Look at what price diamond, lithium, uranium and cobalt is externalized to these countries. African leaders need to do away with different borders and have one leader that is universally elected by the African leaders in a parliament, one constitution, one bank and one currency, one army, one police one passport.

I find Floyd Shivambu a very interesting Jew. He recent bragged about his political idol by mentioning Friedrich Engels. This man come from a German Jewish family. Karl Marx, a Jew, also followed the tracks of Friedrich Engels. So, Communism is existentially a Jewish idea originating in around 1840 to 1890. That ideology was created based on the conditions for the circumstances then. The technological advances have left this ideology as a stone age dream. The economy of scale created by using advance machines demolish the Engels and Marx economy. Further as an economist I have not seen a proper draft of integrative flow diagrams from anyone in my lifetime which draw a layout describing a simple economic model. The most advance countries and academical institutions have found it difficult to describe this. For some reasons politicians are the masters in creating fantastic economies which fail all the time.

Because we Chinese people have a great hatred for colonialism. The problems you are facing now are the same as what the Chinese people encountered 100 years ago, dignity and sovereignty are not easily obtained. There is a phrase in front of Tiananmen Gate: Long live the great unity of the people of the world.
