Backfire is out of the intake, not the back of the car. It is actually afterfire, which is burning excess fuel in the exhaust. Backfire is destructive to the engine as it is trying to run backwards. Anti-lag is really just afterfire that is used to keep the turbo speed up at low engine rpm moment. Basically extra fuel and a spark is introduced post combustion chamber.

Antoine Allard if that was the case, i except the BHP to be higher, or numbers closer to that of torque. i guess they tune it for low speed, thus the torque number is twice that of the BHP.

Tausif Ahmed The turbo is restricted by a 34mm intake. 2.2bar boost then choked down to 1bar.
