And the fact they're charging for DLC on an early access game that has less than minimal base content & missing a tonne of basic features makes me want to just give it a miss & wait for AC Evo. Thanks for the video update on this game. Doing a google search I see this game has 12 tracks not including this new one. Right now, I stopped doing online racing, I just don't have the dedicated time anymore. Seems with all these new online racing games, it maybe hard for just one game to be the top dog in getting the most drivers to do the game. Plus there is just not enough time in the week and to race in every game. Most do private leagues like I did for several years, and just stay with that one game. Anyway, have fun with the new Rennsport track. Take care.
i just don't understand the point in this game. Want to race GT3 or GT4? go and play ACC or every other sim already released with 10x the support of Rennsport. Want to race community content? go play AC that already has thousands of community content, also AC:E is just around the corner. This game just seems like its trying to insert itself into a market that has no desire or need for it. Sure, the graphics look good, but there is no reason to play this game over anything else.
The point is to be competitive i guess. They are partned with ESL (one of the biggest esports league) and Esports World Cup. They already pull out a Major with a one million dollar prize pool! Not everyone wants just casual racing. All the competitions we have now dont even come close to ESL. Plus the ESL races have been awesome, the side by side in this game is very well made and we can see a lot interesting fights during the races. And this is just the beta.
Rennsport wants to grift from Cryptobros after injecting NFTs. Rennsport is made by Porsche. Porsche just Unreal Engine is "free". So besides every dev knows Unreal Engine is bad they where forced to make Rennsport on UE5. This will fail cause Porsche has same mindset as MSG. Just sad for Content Creators who need to wait for a new good sim till ACEvo gets released. Glad LFM excists
I never got this game to look decent. Even trying the highest presets (not playable fps, just to see), it looks bad. I don’t know if it’s the anti aliasing, but it sucks

Eh, is there anything that actually differentiates this GaaS? It is pretty and probably drives well but so does so many more sims...what is the value prop?
If I Google aston gt3 2024 interior, this is the old interior from the aston gt3 2018 that they using and this gran turismo free roam map...I don't know? After testing the "beta" that's actually a alpha wasn't very impressive and all the 100ths of bugs in it...yeah I'm sceptical until they can release a full game and that's not until 2026-2028 as what the game is today
I double checked that and I don't think there is a big difference for the racecars interior? The images I found we're true to the cockpit in the game. -Michel

It actually drives pretty well actually. Ffb is leagues above iracing and better than acc. Try making ur own decisions..... Broadbent has opinions...... But not the be all and end all....... Have an opinion.
Very random Gran Turismo track. It looks neat, but not sure I see the value of it in what is supposed to be a super competitive racing sim, and not Assetto Corsa or Gran Turismo.
Considering that the track looks pretty technical, I would think of it as a test or training ground. But its also the freedom with games, in the end a product doesnt have to strictly focused on real stuff, but can have some good fictional content to lighten the gameplay.
I couldn't agree more... we need more variety in content.. If you don't want to drive it, then don't drive it, but don't limit games to only "real life" tracks. We don't necessarily need another sim game racing the same tracks as it gets old going around the same tracks in different games.
@@tomn8998i remember the times, when you could create your own tracks for Gran Turismo for console. Endless track support, even the tracks back then were pretty dull offside the track.
As Singleplayer you only can drive a l o n e (without any AI/Bot) , driving in a beautiful area a l o n e with a few cars is not what I understand as a racing game. So in this Status Quo for me its not an alternate for AMS2 (for me with the best AI). Driving a l o n e is totaly boring, for me. Also a Problem: pricing. I reject this business model.
the problem is that until they fix the damage model and get the setups working properly, the game still drives like absolute shit compared to games that are even like...15 years older than it. at least on my wheel, forza 'felt' better than rennsport. and of the sims/racing games Ive played on my setup,. it has been the least enjoyable. If it wasn't entirely free, it would be worse than it is. For a completely f2p sim its not...terrible, but it doesn't feel 'good' either.
From our video views, whenever we release something around their updates, its not too bad! So a number of people are at least interested in the direction of development. -Michel
UE5 its difficult to do racing game..... this new studio so it will take time...... but still not feel like sim feels like gt7 and so on..... the psykisk to reality not there
Hmm I just can't see rennsport gaining players to be relevant afte a rocky release and thats putting it kindly, Also its trying to compete in the iRacing domenated space and in no way will it win there. And now with AC EVO on the horizon i think it will completely dissolve from everyones memory.
I think considering that Kunos has worked with the Unreal Engine in the past (Unreal 4 in ACC), they probably made it their goal to at least be as good as the UE5 which Rennsport is built with. I guess it's just the course of high end graphics: becoming so good that it's hard for the human eyes to notice the differences (between different engines)

Unreal engine is so bad lol. First 3 seconds showing massive pop-in.

Love this track in Assetto Corsa especially with my NLR Motion Platform. Lots of uphill and downhill thrills. Looks superb in this video.
Thanks for the video update on this game. Doing a google search I see this game has 12 tracks not including this new one. Right now, I stopped doing online racing, I just don't have the dedicated time anymore.
Seems with all these new online racing games, it maybe hard for just one game to be the top dog in getting the most drivers to do the game. Plus there is just not enough time in the week and to race in every game. Most do private leagues like I did for several years, and just stay with that one game.

Are you talking about resolution? UE5 games generally look bad on resolutions under 1440p

RaceRoom is 10x better than Rennsport. 1) it's finished 2) it's constantly improving 3) the physics and the FFB are top notch. Highly underrated.

@@tomives5653 very true. Even with no cars, I run 30-40 FPS around Spa, with a 4080. I get around 150-160 FPS with a 20 car grid in ACC.
