- Please join us for a visit of our air bnb in our beautiful city of Saintes.
We fully renovated this apartment in January 2024 and are happy to have welcomed many travelers from near and far.
We put all our love and energy into this renovation, carefully selecting quality materials and antique pieces for our guests to enjoy their stay. We wanted to create an experience for them and really make their stay a relaxing and peaceful one.
Very well situated in the historical part of Saintes, our 18th century building gives us a view of the cathedral's clocher.
We kept the original wooden floors and stone walls, and reused antique materials wherever we could, to keep with the building's history.
We had a lot of fun sourcing antiques and working on the layout to maximise the space.

I am not one to make comments but in this moment I needed to thank you for giving me a sense of calm...I am a Native Californian and live at the southern edge of what was one of the mandatory evacuation zones for the Palisades fire. We were lucky and got to come home after 7 days, our home is fine, but our hearts are with the communities who have lost so much. As we begin to find our way back and help to restore lives and rebuild the communities we love, I simply wanted to say thank you for sharing the home and community that you love.
Thank you for your message and all my support in these very tough times. It has been heartbreaking to witness from afar the devastation in California. I cannot even fathom what it would be like to loose everything. I hope communities come together and unite to help each other rebuild and restore lives ❤️

I love this space. I have the same bedding sheet I bought in a mercatino in italy with those cute red initials on it. The tall wall is incredible and to die for... wasnt sure how to use but I love it as the coverlet on the bed. You have amazing taste and will be booking my stay there as I am hunting for a small home in SW France. xx Thank you for sharing

Love the decor exactly just as I have in my home own home hours away from Saintes.
White with bits of pops of colour with cushions & throws make everything pleasing to the eye as well. The only thing is how people treat your home but as you said the covers can be thrown in the washing machine & washed. A holiday let does not have to be just an ordinary place for holidaymakers. Mature people appreciate quality & class, just as they have in their own homes, which makes one feel even though they are on holidays they are still comfortable & appreciates that you have created a classy haven to spend a holiday. Well done you & your husband sound like the perfect hosts who treat people like they should be treated & that guests matter.

Thank you! The volume was fine down my end and it seams ok on other devices too, have you turned the volume up on UA-cam? sometimes that happens, you have to pull the volume toddle to maximum (bottom left corner)nas well as adjusting the volume on your device. I hope this helps!

Oh my...what a stunning, beautifully curated space..it's wonderful! I would make one suggestion, if I may. I think it needs some more soft furnishings in the living area. It's so perfect I would be afraid I'd spill something on the sofa, or that I couldn't relax into the sofa to read or have a glass of wine, share a few nibbles. I'm wondering, if the addition , of a woven basket with a few large down filled pillows and a beautiful wool throw would be inviting while letting guests know they can be informal and relax into the space. You are very talented and it's reflected in all that you do!❤

I love your taste and the calm and luminous atmosphere you create. A tribute to your region. I would just avoid for myself the white linen covered couch... which my chidren ( and the dog) will not keep stainless very long. :)
