Lancelot's is actually quite a bit darker than that. While yes, it references the fact that he was raised by the lady of the lake, the actual implication of the CE is that he drowns himself in the lake he was raised in, following the events of Camlann.
I came to talk about this. Lancelot's my favorite servant so I have to stan for my boy. My interpretation's less dark, since I like to think it's him resting beside the lake at the end of his life, rather than committing suicide in the lake.
For Tsuna's bond CE: It seemed implied to me during 5.5 (or at least the NA server translation of it) that Ibaraki was actually the child of the woman Tsuna loved and was born an oni who killed her mother either at childbirth or sometime afterwards
Also, a little bit of clarification on Okitan: Her Alter Ego form's Bond CE is The End of Eternity, and it references Rengoku and her fighting forever for the Human Order. Her Saber form's CE is called "At the Corner of Eternity's End", a callback to that CE, and it fundamentally reflects the same idea, while acknowledging the miracle that Okitan's Summer form is. The implication is not that Okitan wants to serve Ritsuka forever, but rather that Rengoku wants to serve Okitan forever (because both CEs are written from Rengoku's perspective and he refers to Okitan as "aruji" or master).
Mordred’s will always be one of my favorite. That duality and struggle on trying to figure out who are and want to be. It hurts even more when she’s thinking as she dies. Just powerful powerful stuff. That aside, next one would be Ibuki’s. Just giving us a divine sword like a gift. Love those two women
A bit more about Domus Aurea. It's her main Noble Phantasm with the secondary name "The Golden Theater of the Damned." It's a Reality Marble that basically allows her to do whatever she puts her mind to while it's active. It's also a building that is still standing in Rome that can be visited to this day.
Very good except for Tsuna. Its kinda murky what actually happened but Heian-kyo gives the idea that Tsuna love interest is actually Ibaraki's mother, and that Ibaraki was born a half oni or became one after killing her mother. I believe Tsuna is just biased talking about his love, because from what Ibaraki says about her mother she was scary, or she just hated Ibaraki because she was born half oni maybe?
3:45 I'm surprised you missed the fact that it's basically a suicide note before he drowns himself out of shame after Camlann "I'll take off my armor, take off my helmet, throw down my sword... And I'll sleep here for a while. Here, in this lake, where it's so peaceful" 8:05 It's him lamenting his failures "Give me another chance! Next time, I'll treat her better... I'll do it all better. Just you wait and see. I'll show you!!! ...Dammit..."
After reading parts of FSF it’s kind a weird that the Saber Giles one made me excidted. What if the female version of Prelati became an Alter Ego and that ties in to the new arc.
Looking forward to Berserker, Ruler, & Avenger; as that's where my max bonds are. For anyone curious, it is as follows: 1. My Bros: Darius III & Amakusa Shirou 2. My Waifus: Ibaraki Douji, Paul Bunyan, & Gorgon.
Barghest just soooo FACKING adorable and cute !!! The perfect housewife doggo knight just wants to make us dinner and have a family and snuggle and cuddle and give belly rubs
This is a really good subject for a FGO video! So glad to see bond ces explained. Some feedback: Unless you are trying to save on audio files you don't have to rush this like you do on your summery videos. You could even divide them up further from classes like Summer, Camelot etc... Also the cheery video game music in the background was distracting from your words. In your next videos remove the music or tone it down by a lot. I really look forward to more Bond CEs videos.
Calling D'eon trans is an incredible simplification of someone born with a genetic disorder in a time when such things were completely not understood and struggled to understand their own identity and at different times as an adult lived as both a woman and a man only eventually settling on an identity that they socially were more accepted as.
HA. So Ibaraki WAS Tsuna's love interest. Wait, Tsuna, Tanjiro, Tsuna, Tanjiro............. NUUUUUPE can't see any similarities there :P Wait, who was Houksai's CE foreshadowing ??? :O
Fun fact, Nero bride is *sort of* based in history, but gender bending Nero makes it not make sense. Famously, Nero married another man and dispite this Nero was the one dressed as the bride, which was a huge controversy at the time. This was all a big uproar, not necessarily because he married another man but that he would display submission as the bride to that other man who, if I remember right, was a freed slave. The problem with this all is that it's inclusion in fate makes no sense seeing as if Nero truly were born a woman it likely wouldn't have been nearly such a big deal that Nero dressed as the bride. But idk I just love digging up gay ass history.

@@Cylanthegreat I agree with you

Barghest's Bond CE looks very tasty, and all the more reason to get her to Bond 10. This Beautiful Doggo deserves it.
The collar beside the dishes is kinda sus tho? Is she trying to make master her pet?
@@archerexiv3740nah that’s her own collar,, barghest may be big but she isn’t necessarily a top
What’s even sadder about Jason’s bond CE is that he was crushed by the statue after he attempted to hang himself, I believe.

Musashi TECHNICALLY achieved her goal of obtaining emptiness. She got erased by Chaos.
What the hell is wrong with the Shinsengumi bond CEs, man!
I know their tale is tragic but man, all of them hit right in the heart.
Alot of Bond CEs have interesting lore bits in them so this is really great to see
Looking forward to the other classes!

Would love to see more CE explanations for the other classes!
Honestly a pretty good idea to give more info about the CEs most people would easily miss, there are some gems of lore or character in some of them.
After reading parts of FSF it’s kind a weird that the Saber Giles one made me excidted. What if the female version of Prelati became an Alter Ego and that ties in to the new arc.
This was a really good video.
I would definitely love to see more Bond CE explain for the other class.
Keep up the good work.👍

Regarding Nero Bride in general, just look up tasting history ancient Roman barbecue sauce, and you can infer why Chaotic Bride is a thing. Have fun
4:31 I’ll visit if she puts on clothes that fit her
I absolutely love your lore videos so yeah i'd love to see more. Already subbed so don't worry
This is a neat way to see all the bond CE's I'll never get to use. Lasagna, please buff the bond CE's.
Yeah, it's me, crying through every single of the shinsengumi's CEs
Barghest just soooo FACKING adorable and cute !!! The perfect housewife doggo knight just wants to make us dinner and have a family and snuggle and cuddle and give belly rubs
YES! I would love more! I always love watching your lore videos!

8:34 Let go of his sword to show us his personal one

love this hope you do more
A not-bond ce lore video would be cool too
Ibaraki's Bond CE: I'm sorry, what? I did not register that during the story. I guess I didnt notice. Learn something every day lol
Calling D'eon trans is an incredible simplification of someone born with a genetic disorder in a time when such things were completely not understood and struggled to understand their own identity and at different times as an adult lived as both a woman and a man only eventually settling on an identity that they socially were more accepted as.
Some accounts actually suggest D'eon was a rare natural born hermaphrodite.
3:35 ramas sword isnt Nandaka its the bhramastra, its the arrow turned into a sword, arjuna alters sword is probably the nandaka
Once you are finished with the bond ce are you going to explain the valentine ce?
nicely done professor goat.
