The composition of this military march first caught my attention in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). When I looked it up, it didn't occur to me that this was written in 1866 after the Battle of Königgrätz. This march composition was masterfully composed by Johann Gottfried Piefke!

If this was germany today you’d have been worked to the bone in their growing industry and be dirt poor, except if you were Prussian nobility (and even they got into trouble after the unification of germany because of how old fashioned and aristocratic they were)
