I don't get it if beacons are a capability of the nrf/nre stuff. Like the low energy? So any of these new BT modules as a beacon?! Like my phone?! Or not. It has to be a beacon!? I would love to be able to do any of the just to set up my own beacons
@@NovelBits I need an asset tag that only communicates that it is present in a set of asset tags. The problem is each one of these needs a circuit board for battery mounting…antenna etc
@@NovelBits thx I will. It looks like I am going to have ti design my own low cost PCB to house this chipset as the one from inplay seems very expensive and it doesn’t look to be available outside the test kits. My product needs to be 5 or 6 dollars per asset tag including everything to make it viable.
Yes, the dev kit is too expensive to be used in a simple product like that. The chipsets are available to purchase through DigiKey. www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/inplay/IN100-Q1-R-RC1I/15652915 www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/inplay/IN100-D1-R-RC1I/15652913
Have phone apps that can use BLE5.3 improved on their location finding (ble radar) accuracy? or BLE5.3 requires you to place 2 hubs at fixed position to triangulate down to cm accuracy they say it can do?
I need a Bluetooth preferably BLE device that DOES NOT NEED AN APP, I’ve heard this can be done with audio, mouse keyboard or heart tracker devices but how do I go about finding one all devices i see are BLE ibeacon that need an app
Bluetooth Low Energy devices all require an app to communicate with from a smartphone. Unless the device is a standard HID or Audio device (Classic Bluetooth), you’ll need an app to communicate with it. One exception would be a BLE HID device like a keyboard or mouse. But then the question is, what exactly do you want these Bluetooth devices to do?
Right? I mean, I'm just a regular entrepreneur. I have NO clue what this guy is doing. Can we not just buy one, use an app to create an advertisement, coupon, etc and then turn on our beacon and go? It's 2024 for crying out loud! lol

it says "COULD NOT OPEN UART PORT" what is most likely the issue here ???
This is exactly what I have been looking for. I really need your input on prototype I am working on.
What kind of application is it? and what sensors are you looking use?

Can you send an email to “support AT InPlay-tech DOT com”? Someone should be able to follow up with you and provide guidance

Are there any beacon companies that do most of this tech for you? Im completely lost and just want to add my links to it
