These sisters aren't out to reinvent the wheel. They just want to write and play great rock music. They are honest about what they do, and they respect the fan base enough to give everything each time they walk out on stage. Being a fan of this band is fun as hell! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dany, the oldest, is just short of 25, and they've been at this for 11 years already. They put on a fantastic live show no matter the size of the venue.
“Disciple” explores the dynamics of social media manipulation and the relationship between those who exploit ignorance and those who fall victim to it. Dany represents the manipulative forces that breed hate and distraction for control, while Pau embodies the manipulated disciple trapped in the system. The chorus intensifies the tension between rebellion and control, with Dany calling to “kill the system” and Pau urging to “remain inside your space,” symbolizing the system’s effort to maintain ignorance. The bridge highlights how darkness reveals hidden truths, questioning identity and truth in both light and dark. Ultimately, the song critiques modern systems of control, urging listeners to confront uncomfortable truths and break free from cycles of manipulation and hate.
6:00 if you want to see Pau as a front woman, check out "Narcisista" live at the Teatro Metropólitan. They have a guest drummer in that one so she can come out and sing.
Adding to your comment, the guest drummer in "Narcisista" is Beto Ramos, Pau drum teacher, in an interview Pau stated that he instructed her by listening to RUSH, and Dream Theater entire discography, there’s a clip of a young Paulina covering Mike Portnoy Dream Theater “Pull me Under” very cool to see her so young studying so hard.
@oscarharada1 also, Beto is on the crew as their live sound engineer. He is the one that mixes their live sets. You can thank him for how good their UA-cam concerts sound.
What is front woman; what is lead singer? What are your definitions? Regardless of the definitions, she performs in all places and functions. Anyways, if I'm caught in a spot and have to mention a song where Pau sings I would come up with '23'. Not that it is my favorite , as that is the last song I heard, by definition, but I understand the words and still it is Pau singing. (Don't speak Spanish, neither European continental nor meso- or south-American variants, so the voice to me is for these songs reduced to a really nice sounding instrument)
Fun facts: the guitar Dany is playing is the only mustard yellow Manson Onyx 6. It was a gift from Matt Bellamy of Muse who is part owner of Manson Guitars. The bass Ale is playing is a hyper blue Spector NS5-XL. It was a gift from a patron. Ale has been a Spector artist since age 14 - the youngest ever. Lighting for this concert was done by Brian Bogovic, lighting director for Halestorm. TW have toured with Halestorm three times and Lzzy Hale is one of Dany’s idols.
They practically grew up on stage so after 11 years it has become second nature though they never phone it in. They looked stunning on every red carpet they've been on last year but they are clearly more comfortable performing in front of the camera than parading and that tells all in a world where attention you can get is often more important than the quality you deliver.
You are right. I have seen them in a crowd of 230 in Reading PA. I was also there with 8000 of my closest friends for this performance at the Pepsi Center. They have a fantastic ability to reach out to you no matter the size of the crowd. They are not a shred your face band. It is just good rock to me. Something I have been missing in my playlist for quite a long time.
The show in Reading was amazing. Reverb is five minutes from my house. I could not believe they were playing that close to me. Fun fact: The building Reverb is in used to be a Shoprite supermarket years ago.
@@ChristopherDunkle Interesting fun fact indeed. What a miserable day that was. More than 4" of rain IIRC. But being able to see The warning in that small a venue was fantastic. Now I am more than a dozen additional concerts and have traveled mor e than 20k miles to see The Warning play.
@@oldmanyeni1663 I was seriously considering walking to the show, but didn't because of the weather. It is the only show of theirs that I have made it to. I am not much of a traveler, and I don't do well with crowds.
Great perception from you man , you haven't known the band long but still realised that they will play exactly the same / passion , if playing to a crowd of six or sixty thousand , so you are bang on there , so well done in that respect !
Very true! Their work ethic is deservedly legendary. I saw The Warning the first time in Monterey, CA, and due to it not being in a major metro area the audience was on the small side, but The Warning played with the same intensity as if they were headlining a festival before tens of thousands. That left a huge impression on me, a complete newbie to TW, and I've been falling down that rabbit hole ever since.

You nailed their full names and nobody disowns them. But Dany, Pau and Ale is what they usually call each other, so this is also the version their fans use most of the time.
They definitely own the crowd, but the crowd are 100% there for them, many have been following and supporting them since they were kids, so it's definitely a two way street. I've only known them for a few years, but I believe they will dominate the music world for a generation. Writing, directing, producing, they are already getting into every aspect of the business, and we're all going to be better off for it. Thanks for coming back, their catalog is an embarrassment of riches.

A few years earlier, they made a fantastic music video for this. It's full of symbolism that explains or interprets the lyrics. It's a don't miss! Anything from this concert is worth seeing. There isn't a bad moment or song in it.

Glad you found TW! 8 yr fanboy here. I’ve seen them 3X - at a 500 seat club, at a 2000 seat theater and opening for Pretty Reckless/Halestorm in front of 15k. They put on the same high energy performance every time
Most if not all their crowds are more than willing participants in the event. 8000 folks in this crowd. There's an interview with Ale where she was asked if they get nervous, how they deal with it. Her answer was they don't really get nervous, they just go out on stage and hove fun. And they always play to the audience, no matter how big or small.
This whole concert was amazing Dust to Dust, Hell you call a dream etc. Pau does a piano solo called Black wholes and Dani an Acoustic When I am alone from Pepsi Center. These were amazing and tear jerkers too
64 of age, I think I've been waiting some 20+ yrs for a hard rock (not metal) band to blow away like they do. Found them with the live performance of Narcisita (Pau singing). If you wanna listen to Pau's voice in better detail: go look for Revenant. All 3 are great singers. Ale is also singing more and more. And I love it! One of my next concerts to go here in Hamburg are Morganway from England. All six are singing, while S.J. Mortimer is the lead singer. 2 weeks before that will be Ignea from the Ukraine. Last year I watched Toehider from Australia. Michael Mills is the nicest guy to meet! I watched Eivor Palsdottir (also:amazing!). Morganway, opening up for Elles Bailey. In summer, I hope to watch NiNimusic from Taiwan. (Just a few ideas from me.) Greetings from the far north of Germany!
Keep 'em coming! The thumbnail for this has a little number '1' in the bottom right corner, meaning this is the first song of this concert. Might as well go to number '2' next and keep rolling with it! We're all here for it!
My favorite rock band on the planet today. I love these ladies. I could on and on about Pau, she is an absolute precious bad ass, but to be honest Ale and Dany are just as impressive. Three incredible ladies taking over the world. Ale just turned 20, unbelievable how good she is on that bass. Dany is incredible singing while playing lead which is no joke.
Hi Mike. What do think of the audio quality? I think it's amazing but I would like an expert opinion. That's their sound engineer, Lalo Plaza. I think he deserves an award.
I was going to comment on the sound quality. It is great for a live concert almost studio quality. But I got sidetracked by how great they were at performing. But yes he did a fabulous job with the sound.
@Middle-AgedMike-Reacts thanks. Yeah my ear isn't that good but this seems really outstanding to me. Looking forward to more of the Warning on your channel. I friggin love them!
Lalo Plaza does the mix the audience hears in the venue. Beto Ramos did the mixing and mastering for what we hear in the video for the concert. He did the same for the Teatro Metropolitan show as well. The biggest difference between the shows is they really included the crowd noise in the Pepsi Center show where in Teatro the crowd was mostly filtered out. However, I completely agree with you that they sound studio quality live if you’re in the audience. Lalo does an amazing job and they’re damn lucky to have him.
*Disciple* *Disciple* is one of their songs about social media and how it affects people in ways they don't even know... Dany (guitar) sings the part of the "leader"... Pau (drums) sings the part of a "follower", "disciple", or maybe "soldier"... basically they're speaking about how people take what they see on social media and believe it, whatever it is... in this way, certain groups out there control the narrative and what is happening... i believe this is a cynical song telling people to think for themselves and not believe everything they see or hear... the OMV for *Disciple* was shot during the pandemic, all the extras in the video are IRL The Warning Army members... the wearing of the various masks works for the video as well as acknowledging the pandemic being a thing at the time of recording the video... there is the dichotomy of the masks, themselves... the "disciples/soldiers" wearing just cloth mouth and nose masks while the higher ranked overseers are wearing full face filter masks... and then we have DPA/TW playing the upper echelon, the untouchables, with no masks at all... this ranked depiction of status makes a huge statement about social media in addition to what is already being said in the song... *XXI Century Blood* , *Z* , and *Kool-Aid Kids* are three other original DPA/TW songs that also speak about social media... the 1st one, XXICB, has an OMV that tells a story... it and the director were nominated for (and won?) several awards when it was released in 2017 when Dany was 17, Pau was 15, and Ale was 12 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

What an awesome song to launch a 2 hour celebration of 10 years as a band. Might as well do the whole show, their thumbnails have the set order in the corner.
Another example of their abilities might be to check out their "cover" of Enter Sandman at this same Pepsi Center concert. This song is special to them as they did a cover when they were very young that went viral and kind of launched them as a band. It might be fun to do a double reaction: do the early viral cover first and then the Pepsi Center version. (I'm trying not to give too much away but I think you'd enjoy it very much!)
Bela B. from "Die Ärzte" is a great singing drummer with a fantastic voice. And in addition he plays the drums while standing. But they only sing in German. So not that well known outside Germany. 🤟
Glad to see you back to The Waning and I enjoyed the reaction. You'll hear a lot about how much better they sound live and its true. That said, as you're going through the Pepsi Center concert, if you want to try out an OMV here and there they have some really good ones. Que Mas Quieres is one and was written and co-directed by Pau. Their first OMV XXI Century Blood, is also very good and so are Six Feet Deep & Martirio. Keep on rocking and you've been warned!

Cover song - "You Outta Know" in the Sirious Studio. Alanis M. Cover.
There are more singing drummers than you have named, the ones I can think of off hand that you missed are Japanese (and you don't have many reactions to Japanese bands, yet). The 2 obvious ones are Nao (from Maximum the Hormone) and Hana (from Gacharic Spin and Doll$Boxx), but Tamu (from Nemophila) can also do it but rarely does so (mostly when she is covering MtH because Nao is like her idol). Now Maximum the Hormone is an influential and in Japan, Nao has inspired many female drummers (as well as other female musicians in shifting cultural norms), but for Reactors MtH is difficult as they are strict about the Copyrights. As for Hana it depends on the year, Gacharic Spin formed in 2009 and she was the drummer from 2009-2012, drummer and lead vocalist from 2012-2019 and 2019-present is the rhythm guitarist and co-lead vocalist; Doll$Boxx, which is a Gacharic Spin sideproject started in 2012 and she is drummer and 2nd vocalist.

Glad you found TW! 8 yr fanboy here. I’ve seen them 3X - at a 500 seat club, at a 2000 seat theater and opening for Pretty Reckless/Halestorm in front of 15k. They put on the same high energy performance every time
She’s behind the kit but she’s elevated and center stage so everyone can see her
Nice reaction, Mike. Thank you.
Great reaction my friend. Keep Rockin' The Warning 🤘⚡🤘
Great reaction! Hey, how about reacting to the next song from this concert: Z? Have fun.
This whole concert was amazing Dust to Dust, Hell you call a dream etc. Pau does a piano solo called Black wholes and Dani an Acoustic When I am alone from Pepsi Center. These were amazing and tear jerkers too
!!!GOODISM¡¡¡ The Warning is 100% 🔥 !!!🎵Ole Ole Ole Oleeee Warning Warning🎵¡¡¡. Greetings from Argentina.
(Just a few ideas from me.)
Greetings from the far north of Germany!
Welcome back to The Warning . .
👍👋NZ🇳🇿🍻twa
@mjc1389 that's cool. What a talented drummer
Yessir Pau can be the front woman. Check out Narcisista at Teatro Metropolitan. She will knock your socks off!
Yeah! This little bundle of energy comes out of nowhere and OWNS the stage...I loved seeing her get out and strut her stuff...ultra talented.
*Disciple*
*Disciple* is one of their songs about social media and how it affects people in ways they don't even know...
*XXI Century Blood* , *Z* , and *Kool-Aid Kids* are three other original DPA/TW songs that also speak about social media... the 1st one, XXICB, has an OMV that tells a story... it and the director were nominated for (and won?) several awards when it was released in 2017 when Dany was 17, Pau was 15, and Ale was 12 😹
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
The next legit super group.
Nice reaction! I love The Warning! 🤘
Liked and Subbed!
Thank you!! 😁
👍👍 !!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Great reaction, subbed for more of TW. They are now World Class. On their way to being one of the top bands in the world. Please react to Hell You Call A Dream (Pepsi Center) And Please check out Sick or Z from the Pol'and'rock festival. close to 100 thousand people...
What an awesome song to launch a 2 hour celebration of 10 years as a band. Might as well do the whole show, their thumbnails have the set order in the corner.
⚡️⚡️🤘🏼⚡️⚡️
She's a front woman from behind the kit!
Enjoyed your reaction and subbing for more! 😎👍
Thank you so much 😁
Another example of their abilities might be to check out their "cover" of Enter Sandman at this same Pepsi Center concert. This song is special to them as they did a cover when they were very young that went viral and kind of launched them as a band. It might be fun to do a double reaction: do the early viral cover first and then the Pepsi Center version. (I'm trying not to give too much away but I think you'd enjoy it very much!)
DPA ~ TWA ~ UK
nice reaction,, great to watch someone "in the biz" get hooked!
Bela B. from "Die Ärzte" is a great singing drummer with a fantastic voice.
And in addition he plays the drums while standing.
But they only sing in German. So not that well known outside Germany.
🤟
❤⚡⚡⚡🎶🤟🏻🤘🤟🏻
🤘🏻⚡️🔥
Glad to see you back to The Waning and I enjoyed the reaction. You'll hear a lot about how much better they sound live and its true. That said, as you're going through the Pepsi Center concert, if you want to try out an OMV here and there they have some really good ones. Que Mas Quieres is one and was written and co-directed by Pau. Their first OMV XXI Century Blood, is also very good and so are Six Feet Deep & Martirio. Keep on rocking and you've been warned!
❤️⚡🤘
When Ale does that double slide or whatever it's called toward the end
She doesn't get the attention she deserves sometimes.
Loved your reac…… ok, agreement.
You are correct. Not much to say except, thank you… from me.
For covering my favorite band.

🤘
🤩😘
You really really have to checkout polrock , went on at midnight after electric cowboy. Probably made about 50 to 75 thousand new fans.
Funny that you mentioned being old enough to be rheiy dad. His name is Luis, and he’s also a recording engineer.
Listen something from the poland rock is the best live
As a drummer, it might be interesting for you to watch the DTB videos where Pau talks about his gear.

I will have to check it out. Thanks
@@Middle-AgedMike-Reacts it’s an extremely short video 😜
@@torresilk4277 🤣
Yo, can you react to a symphonic death metal instrumental I did? That'd be awesome ua-cam.com/play/PLdiBUiycHdrW8PRHnQeylCnzPVdV8v1wH.html&si=edvJrTbSLYkdZVzA
Child prodigies. ERROR is their best album. QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE (a concept album) is their second best work.......Ale just turned 20. They have been writing, performing and recording for ten years.
🤘👏
