Hey Claire, I saw a post where your name was used in a review for i think it was Resineers (see Daniel Coopers community post) about an air filter with a Heppa filter. They used not only your name and review but also Daniel Coopers and one other resin artist on UA-cam named Steve or Steven McDonald (sorry I don’t remember the name) so many apologies to the third person. Anywho if you didn’t try and review this product you need to say something I have never heard you mention this air purifier nor have you shown this product so please let them know how wrong this is and let us know if you were wronged!! Just looking out for you.

@jennifercriss1897 heyyyyyyy Jennifer ... you are a star thank you... I was chatting to Daniel about this yesterday when he discovered it .. I do not believe my name was used. I believe it to be Steve and Pouring your heart out ... however it is utterly shocking as the machine isn't even available to anyone at this stage.
I will double check this for sure to see if I was mentioned. Thank you xxx ❤️❤️❤️❤️

3:38 If you got a square washing up bowl & filled it up an inch or two deeper than the moulds deepest depth with some sand (rice may work) & push the moulds into them. Use a spirit level to insure that they are all level. It will also support the moulds shape from below.

I agree, and I have over 20 pounds of rice, which I will not eat.

Hi Claire with the worded inlays couldn’t you put them back side facing up in your mould, pour your resin once cured remove the inlay, have wrong side up use whatever chameleon powder then fill in the void where the inlay was? 🤔

I learned the lesson you have with making a silicone piece, now if I have a piece that isn't weighted, I pour a small amount of silicone, let it set, then pour the rest. You only have to do this once to learn... : )

Hi Claire! There's still a chance you can get the mould out using heat. I had an inlay stuck even deeper, and it was a druzy so I cut my hands pretty badly trying to get it out. Heat gun helped get it out within seconds though. Good luck!

Add a mold release spray under your inlay then a thin layer of resin with something on top of inlay to hold it down till it has cured. The mold release spray will help with the suction you want. I think the heat gun makes it come away from the bottom possibility.

Wow. I was just thinking about this today and I couldn’t believe it when I saw it in your video. Yesterday I made a silicone inlay from a silicone mold. I first coated the mold with a tiny amount of Vaseline and it came out perfect. It’s a very small mold. Does anyone think Vaseline would help to adhere the inlay to the silicone?

Now that you've planted the idea of a clearr trinket dish with an ammonite in my head, I want to see you make one. You should prop up the trial piece on it's side, so light could really get through it. It is like a fossil from space.

12:45 I don’t know if you or a friend/family member has a circular saw that is attached to work desk for safety, you (or someone you trust) could always saw a layer of resin off leaving a thin layer which your craft knife could cut through to release your mould. Just a suggestion inspired by a workman nearby doing some work for a neighbour & I can hear him cutting planks of wood. It’s a possibility anyway.

If you put hot glue into the words blocking them off you could probably still use the ones with words on them. Just make a “blank” space with the hot glue so you can use vinyl or just write on them instead.

To make the tray sit flat I use a shallow dish and put a layer of sand I to the bottom and press the mold down until it is flat, If I'm not sure I got it right I check with a level.

As far as I know the molds from stamperia are made for the stamperia paste to make embelishments for mixed media pieces. Not really for resin ore other pouring mediums thats why there are not as flat and even as usual molds.

If you glue the silicone inlay onto the bottom of the mould it would be there forever and you would not only sacrifice the coaster mould but you'd be stuck making that exact piece over and over again with no chance of using the other inlays to create different designs
