The silicone you use to make your inlays makes a difference, too. I had a cheap silicone I bought a while ago and it absolutely fused to the molds. I haven't had Let's Resin brand fuse to the molds.

Using a stronger (or maybe even just harder?) silicone like dragonskin would alleviate worry about tearing smaller bits, albeit at a bit of a cost!
I love these, and you chose the perfect colour for the silicone. I had to leave my resin project for a doggy-sitting gig today, and I have some resin leaves with orange mica waiting to be turned into jewellery, once I get back.
I hope you'll get back to your studio in the new home soon, because I want to see what you make with these!

Love the pumpkin and leaf molds. Gonna have to get some. What else can you use if you don't have release spray?? Still sending prayers for your house exchange 😊
I remember seeing Wendy (at ToonPish) putting a thin coat of vasiline on her molds, but again it is at your own risk, I suppose sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't 🙂

On the beetle mould the specks of mica on the inlays will it come off onto the resin or just stay on the inlay ?

How come the silicone doesn’t stick to the mold. I was told silicone sticks to silicone? I’m so confused
