Thanks for taking the time...if possible, I'd love to see a video with techniques to find good follow-on progressions (verse to pre-chorus/chorus progressions etc). Thanks again 👍
Excellent video! I've dabbled on and off with music the past 20 years. Chord progression and theories still stymies me, lol. But videos like this help! With the pandemic, I've been doing a lot more music. Sometimes it works, other times not! I suspect that when it worked, I got lucky...lol But every video like this, I get that one "aha" moment! Keep them coming please!!!
Its a great topic that could have its own series on actually. My best advice is to just keep trying stuff until you find something you like the sound of. Don't be afraid to sit there for an hour moving notes around :p
Sorry for I done one song I try second one i still i am tragling back ground base sound getting not well i am using ableton 11 i couldn't no base sound Please which i wont to install please Help please I am looking your reply Best I wishes your unison Thank you
I learned more in this video than I did in a month of music theory class in school. Also, the second set of chords sounds right off of Lonerism by Tame Impala
So not to be that guy, but this is a tutorial on how to "visually" voice chords, and how to add a 7th. Nothing advanced here and it does not teach you how to actually construct chord progressions and understand voicing - don't shortcut going to learn some music theory properly which will actually expand your capabilities.
I know my way around theory, understand extensions, inversions, circle of fifth, learned it all as a child, but that's a long time ago, and I certainly can use a refresher when is well presented...

It takes practice. Ableton is great, but a little harder to handle with plugins. Try Reaper. It's been always working easily for me

Thanks Thomas!
Its cool to hear the video was so helpful to you.
This video was fantastic. Not to quick and well presented. If you could do more videos on speed up your work flow, plus some hacks would be good.
Appreciate it, and sure we got one on workflow hacks coming out today :)

I agree, but see it as a good start, don't discourage him, he already has your money, right? 😉
