Do you recommend use that for a sorc in the new ladder ? My ideia is start with light already. So no griffons or infinity. But i don't know if the reduced resist will be enough to the early farms.
Crescent moon can be very powerful on a lightning sorc early ladder, It will not break resistances but the Reduction in enemy lightning resists will help boost your killing speed substantially.

Use math to prove your point. 10000 lightning damage versus 90% lightning resistant monster is only 1000 damage. Crescent moon is -35% lightning resistance which can be stack with other items. You will probably lose some damage because of the lack of plus to skills so let's say 9000 lightning damage versus 90% lightning resistant monster.
