I have to tell you, my 8-year-old son asked me to write this. We went fishing today, caught two trout, and had him in a taco within 2 hours of catching them. He is addicted to your show, and he would love to find a time to meet wherever you are not just to make a show or anything just to meet you and fish with you.! Thank you for doing your channel, we both love it. My son even got a backpack tackle box like you, because he likes you so much.

snapping off a brand new lure on the first cast, cuz you wanted to make that first cast really count, so you tried to launch it a mile out and forgot to open your bail. ya, it's a super awesome feeling. if you've never done it, you should definitely give it a try. it's almost as fun as snapping a rod on the first cast of the day because you hooked a tree on the back swing.
these are the real joys of fishing.

First fishing UA-camr I've watched(and I watch a lot) to gut a trout the way my family does and I think the best way.
Yup he does it the right way! The other way makes it so hard to clean them completely. I will show both and the comparisons some day on my channel :)

Its a tape worm! Lots of fish in Washington have them, normally only in the guts but if the infestation is bad enough they can get into the meat. The landlocked salmon in Riffe lake are utterly infested with them. No harm to us just make sure its cooked well if found in the meat.

If your looking for a new trout rod you should get the fenwick eagle 7’6 light action it give a good fight with gills. If your looking for a new salmon rod you should get the fenwick 9’6 salmon/stealhead bait caster! Love the vids keep up the quality work

Nice job dude! You’re doing some cool things with the catch and cooks for sure. Also a tip, in some of those mountain lakes, you can catch finicky trout by catching crawdads and using the tail meat for bait if you can’t track down bugs

Anyway, I am camping / fishing the Cispus river out of Randle,Wa this weekend. Don’t know anything about it. I trout fish but really want to get into Salmon / Steelhead. You sir, need some fly bobbers and dry flies. A wooly bugger always produces. 6-8’ 6lb test under a barrel swivel and fly bobber. Cast out, close bail just before the fly hits the water, it causes the fly to lay out. Then retrieve as fast as it take to make a small V wake off the fly. It produces. I promise.
