    I've been fishing for a few years now and had to watch countless videos over that time to get all this information. This is a one stop shop for carp fishing info in the correct order of a session. Great work Tom! Keep it up you little hauler!

    Was amazed by Tom's simplicity when I had a tutorial with him. He does all the basics, really well. You see how many fish he catches and you think he must have some wonder rig, bait, edge. He doesn't and just uses good solid angling.

    Another fantastic video from Fox, most of it was info I was more than aware of but I will definitely be changing my Spod/Marker rod setup much easier way of interchanging then what I do currently. I'm sure that all anglers will reaffirm that they're doing stuff right at the very least and many like me will take a tip or two away to incorporate into their own angling

    Great video, very informative and has a lot of information for new, and seasoned anglers alike.I would personally say it is best to cover the first 1 or 2 feet of line as much as possible to protect the carp by using a leader, if allowed, but if not definitely some tubing.I have seen fish lose scales and receive side damage from naked line.

    I don’t wana be negative cuz I love the fox videos but locking up on a snag is a good idea but not with a pod especially if it isn’t pegged down! If a fish darts with that set up shown it’s 100 percent pulling that rod in the lake especially if ya not sitting on the rods!

    Brilliant video! Good to see a video with carp care in too. 2 questions, Does Tom change the distance when spodding to a spot according to the depth, if so how much. Also why dosen't he use hemp anymore in his spod mix?

    • @fox_international
      @fox_international  7 років тому +1

      we will try and get Tom to answer this in his next video, in short he never really changes the distance in shallow water (Up to 10ft), after that it will generally be 1ft taken off the spod for every 3ft of water.

  • @BrutalSjorsness

    nice one EMMERDALE , all you got to do now is learn to be a bit more courteous to your fellow anglers and you got it made ,ie move your van off the middle of the road so others can get around the lake instead of just looking and doing sod all about it. when asked , making people reverse all the way back ,,your not a SUPPER STAR YET LIKE , GOOD OLD DAVE LANE
