I survived a mass shooting

On April 30, 2019, an individual came into the college classroom I was sitting in and began to open fire. Six of my classmates were shot. Two of my classmates, Reed Parlier and Riley Howell, lost their lives. I made this video to share my story, spread awareness, and bring comfort and encouragement to other survivors. This video contains my experience, some things I want people to know, and a letter to other survivors.

everytownsuppo... - Everytown Survivor Network, part of Everytown for Gun Safety, is a national organization working to end gun violence in the United States. They have an extensive survivor network that offers events, support groups, and ways to take action. This network is open to all who have been impacted by this violence and/or those looking to get involved to make our country safer.
www.therebelsp... - Started by survivors of the Columbine shooting, the Rebels Projects offers support and resources to shooting survivors with a specific focus on those impacted by mass shootings.
survivorsempow... - Survivors Empowered was founded by the parents of Jessica Ghawi, who lost her life in the Aurora movie theater shooting. Provides support and resources to anyone impacted by gun violence.
www.samhsa.gov/ - SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) is a federal agency offering free, multilingual, and confidential support 24/7 to anyone struggling.
www.findhelp.org/ - Site to find resources in your area to assist with food, housing, healthcare, and so on.
