One consideration on fuel cost. The slower SR20 has a smaller fuel burn but it is also a slower aircraft. So to figure real fuel costs...compute the hourly fuel burn and the number of hours to reach a given destination and you will get a fair comparison. It is also possible to fly slower in the SR22 to save on fuel cost if you choose, but you will end up in the same place as flying the SR20 at a higher percent of it's power.
You can run a 22 at 170 true at 12.7 gph lop. Cht's are extremely cool and engine is at appx 55 percent rated power. This cruise condition is extremely easy on the engine. I agree fully with what you're saying.
@@dmsheckler Yes. Many get confused over power, range and fuel burn. It is a set of variables, not one answer. I own a SR22T. I run it at 75% power...usually cruise at 12 to 15k feet...get 190tas at altitude and about a 17gph burn. The temps are low to mid if I keep TITs at or below 1600. Each annual the guys are always amazed at how young the engine is...very little wear and tear doing it that way.
So, what's the deal with the Vision 2? I heard Cirrus is giving preference to current Cirrus owners. I like the layout and room of the Vision, however, switching from a T206 to an SR20, or SR22 would be a significant reduction in space, just to get to the Vision.
I have both, i rent them both to an older gentleman and his brother and they jarsly use them so its like i got two free planes. They basically fly them on Sundays a few times a month and it covers my entire expense and i make 8% on my momey. I paid cash for them both.
Fantastic analysis and graphics, nothing like it out there. Buen trabajo, Pablo!
Perfect review. Everything I was looking for
yeah but most of the figures are incorrect don't get your information from some guy on UA-cam
Very nice presentation. Exactly what I wanted to view.
this is exactly what i was looking for thank you.
Thanks for this video. I am looking for SR 22 for rent for around the world flight. If you can help.
Buy a 22. You out grow a 20 quickly. Plus the climb performance on the 22 is much better on hot humid days.
Only if you need it. It is not cost effective for everyone.

Very good!!!
I'll choose the Bristell!
Really?
You know you don't need to place the camera so close to your face
On the contrary I'd suggest a fish eye lens which would allow him to even get much closer
Bruh, that accent 😂
