I was just watching an interview with Dean Butler on another channel here on UA-cam,he was discussing the transition from his relationship between he and Melissa Gilbert’s character changung from that of her being a little girl and his falling in love with her character. He was saying that Michael Landon was very careful and made sure that the kissing scenes were chaste and carefully monitored and apparently Melissa Gilbert was very uncomfortable because of thier age difference ,she was only 16 and he was 23 ,in] think they had great chemistry.
Amanda Aiman same here! I really only love the ones where they are together! Those are the only episodes I watch! I wish so much they were here on you tube! They were years ago! They made the show for me! I think they would have made such a great couple in real life!!!
Amanda Aiman I always wondered how far apart they were supposed to be in age on the show! I don't believe they ever said Almanzos age. In real life Melissa Gilbert and Dean Butler are 8 years apart!
