I saw the video and I was like "Wooooow! I need this one!". After checking the price and my bank account I decided to watch again your video about hand made slow-motion and similar things... 😅 Again, great content! ❤️
Oh man, I’ve been using a Konova slider for like 8 years, and while it’s quite awesome, what I wouldn’t give for a motorized slider! Those minor bumps and wobbles when doing it manually drive me crazy.
Although I don’t have a slider I prefer the edelkrone as it allows u to go forward and back without getting the track in the shot. Dope video by the way!
It looks ( and sounds!!! ) excellent, but... a BIG FAT BUT - way too expensive. Byt the bundle price, it is possible to buy a lot of other PRO sliders in the market. Excellent video btw
I've been maniacally searching the internet for slider reviews as I must purchase one soon, this came in the best moment possible! Also all other sliders (edelkrone, ifootage and syrp) seem lacking according to many user reviews, my last hope is Rhino.
Hello Peter, thanks for the great job you provide us !!! I m thinking about gerting one, i wondered from what website did you ordered your Rhinonarc ii. Seems to be only shipped from the us to europe (I am French). Thank you again and happy new year !
Loved that opening sequence. Sick B-Roll and music mix! Nice hat!! I like sliders, but I don't think it would pay for itself right now. I like to add that little motion for interviews. In the future I would like to have one camera on a slider and then the main shot on a tripod. One day.....
Edelkrone all they way. But the pricing is way over my league at the moment. Anyway.. If you come to denmark some day, give us a heads up. I just started my channel, and put up my first b-roll. Hope to push myself to upload some 3-4 times a month, to challenge myself. Thanks for all your inspiration!
Nice job on the video! I have always been intrigued by Rhino gear, and even more so with the ARC II. It certainly has some unique features, and for video alone, I think it looks awesome. However, I do see some limitations for other uses, since there is no way to separate the pan/tilt or even the controller from the motors. So it might not be as versatile as other systems.
Nice! At the moment I am using the Edelkrone SliderOne V2, I love the size and portability, with me I know tgat if anything is big I’ll end up getting more and more lazy using it cos of the hassle but I would love to get a longer one for larger projects though at some point , 😊
Peter Lindgren yup , maybe if there was a really collapsable one that had best of both worlds when you need it would be great, it could transform itself to be longer or shorter yet small footprint!
I bought the Arc II. Great potential, but I wish for a reference manual so that I don't have to wade through videos looking for the "little things" that answer a question I might have.
The only drawback I see with the Rhino is that you can't use the focus adjust for zoom where the Elderkrone you can. I want to set the zoom at a keyframe not the focus..Sony has great autofocus. You agree? We may contact Rhino for this problem. We are gearing up for 10 videos to go along with a album release.
ordered the whole arc II setup today! will never purchase something from Edelkrone again... im so super unsatisfied with the slider I already have from them... Rhino is the good stuff
are there any mptprized sliders that are priced less but might be an acceptable tradeoff for us hobbyists. This rhino seems well made, useful for product reviews, but expensive
You can pretty much do everything this does with any motorized slider with speed contol + a motion capture enabled gimbal like DJI Ronin SC or Zhiyun Weebill S. Of course repeatability and ease of set up of the shots may be an issue and need some tricks, but you can be very creative without a big hole in your pocket. I believe it can be a topic for a new tutorial video that has never done before by content creators on the platform. What do you think about this?
Can you try/make a video using the Arc ll head unit on an Edelkrone slider or just a tripod... I really don’t want to buy another powered slider and I won’t use the focus motor at all... thanks!👍🏽
I am torn between the nikon d750 and the sony a7iii after my nikon d3100. The price difference is an issue and the fact that i still have to buy lenses is just too much. the fact that i already have the nikon 50mm f1.8 and the preice difference between the two cameras makes me lean more towards the d750. but i feel like the sony a 7iii is the future and the d750 is too old. ANY ADVICE?
I’ve seen your stuff recommended for last two weeks and I am glad I clicked on. Good stuff! Greetings from a neighbor, from Estonia! Could you maybe also review some very budget options to see if they are any good?
How's the noise when moving slowly? If it's as loud as it was in your cool intro, I think it would distract my interview subjects (not normally public speakers). I'm not worried about picking it up in the shotgun mic.
It turned out good right :D! Haven't made any merch yet, it's too expensive for me to stock up atm :/.. Will probably do a super limited edition soon though.
@@PeterLindgren1 That will be awesome!! I've been watching your channel since around AUG/SEP this year and its insane how fast your channel has grown in less than a year. But its no wonder cuz your content is like butter!!! love your videos!
Great content again. I´m using konova k5 with ksm s2 motor, it´s a very good slider but the installation of the motor and noise should be better, keep up!
Also, no support for Android...whaat?? THAT is really odd. So compared to the Edelkrone it seems similar. However, I sometimes have problems with the head and vertical shots holding my Sony a7iii with 16-35GM which is quite frustrating, especially when it's something important you're shooting. The whole Arc II system looks really stable and powerful, have you tried any incline shots or vertical shots with it? So you were using the Arc II the whole time to set up shots with no app, how did you find that process? I find my iPhone at 3% quite often so having the option to setup from the actual slider head is a great feature, one I don't have with the Edelkrone.
Yeah it's a bit of a bummer, they will drop an app for android soon though. This bad boy manages all the weight i've put on it so far without any issues. It's extremely sturdy and moves both quiet and super smooth. They do have 2 different motors, the torque one and the high speed one. i have the latter and it It does pull it up in slight incline. It's super easy to set the keyframes and i didn't think it was tedious at all! An app would be cool but not something i miss currently.
How accurate is it at repeating the same camera movement? Like could you create a vfx plate with an actor standing one place and then do it again with the actor standing somewhere else and blend it together?
Peter Lindgren yes I’m aware that they did but highly appreciate how transparent and up front you are about it. It’s rare on UA-cam. But yes I figured you’d have the actual number. 2.6k is not a small amount but I got to say it’s less than I expected.
Im extremely dissapointed in rhino.... i won an arc 2 a year ago and they still havent even shipped it out or anything... they breeze past my questions and just tell me i will recieve an email when it ships but never gave me a date or anything and you got yours i assume pretty quick after you got wind of the product. smh
I've experienced the complete opposite, they're super supportive. Make sure to contact them again since the ARC II hasn't dropped to the public domain until now!

Oh man, I’ve been using a Konova slider for like 8 years, and while it’s quite awesome, what I wouldn’t give for a motorized slider! Those minor bumps and wobbles when doing it manually drive me crazy.
As long as it works right?
Yeah, i have a manual slider as well but this is just on another level, so clean footage it's almost ridiculous!

Your style is very unique and good. Damn there goes my excuse for not posting to UA-cam because my Scottish accent is too strong though!
I am using the edelkrone set up with my a7iii. What AF settings do you think should work best when tracking products?
Awesome!
I'm personally using Manual Focus for those product shots!

Hey peter! Great video! I want that whole bundle! QUESTION ! what cage do you have on your camera in the video!? Looks really sleek!

Peter any suggestion for fixed ND filters for f2.8 filming? Would ND64 or ND16 or ND8 be suggested for all round day shooting?
I'd say go for variable ND's!

I wonder what happened to Konova. Several years ago, they were all over UA-cam.
Could you tell me what type of motor you were using in the video?
Love your videos ❤️ you make some awesome stuff 😍

There is one thing miss leading that it charges in 2 hrs while it takes 10 to 12 hrs to charge the ARC II.

Only reason it was that loud is because the focus motor was attached directly to the lens! Otherwise it is almost completely silent!
