    I watched the video till end, and it turned out amazing🙌🍀💯💯💯
    So from my understanding, only this thin glass stops the IR lights?🤔

      Thank you brother 🙏 Yes that thin glass is stopping 99% if the IR light. Therefore I had to remove it. This was the hardest part of the procedure.

      @@FixitEasyDIY If we use VR glass and put phone inside it you can use it outdoor without anyone notice it. Now the light of the phone's screen is too high. With VR glass it's too perfect

    fantastic. 👍 you can fine tune the footage by adjusting the white balance & exposure settings of the camera, if it has a manual shoot option.

      Thanks for the hint. I am actually not that good at shooting videos, but this sounds logical. I will definitely try that. Thank you again 😊

    can you do it on a newer model? because the ir cut filter is glued near the sensor which made it more difficult

      What NM are the diodes being used?
      The reason for the question is I am trying to build an FPV drone night vision setup

      I should have share it. It is basically random stuff from my workshop. IR module for night vision camera ( the round LED thing) 12v battery from old laptop cells with BMS circuit and a switch.

    Did this phone had Autofocus.

    • @FixitEasyDIY
      @FixitEasyDIY  9 місяців тому +2

      Yep. It had, but I've removed it when displaced the IR filter. It would be ideal if I could manage to keep the auto focus.

    • @Geopelia_Elec
      @Geopelia_Elec 5 місяців тому +1

      For Xperia Z2 you can keep focus ability alive.
      2 nights ago I destroyed it but I learnt that camera sensor structure 😅, it needs hot air from back to melt solder and removing its case easily and IR filter is behind of glass and Auto focus system = magnet + copper wire.

      @@FixitEasyDIY your welcome bro , I am sorry for bad English.
      I wanted to say the structure was :
      Image Sensor => IR filter => some flexible wires to make glass to have levitation condition => glass and coil around of it.
      If we remove Sensor from back , we can have full access to IR filter and we do not need to go more further inside.

    "That is very exciting. However, I wonder about one thing: Is it possible to build it without modifying the smartphone camera, so that the smartphone camera remains the same and the night vision camera is added with an external case?"

    • @FixitEasyDIY
      @FixitEasyDIY  Рік тому +1

      Actually it cannot be made without modifying the camera. The main reason for this is because the IR filter should be removed from the lens. It is a hardware and we must remove it manually :)
