It was scrapped by a member of the public, due to our licenses etc we are able to dismantle these. Parts get put on the system for resale, we do stock rotate so we do get rid of items as well as putting new items in stock, there is a lot more involved though than what is seen.
What was wrong with the Kia that lead to it getting scrapped? Also did you sell the rear hatch? It looked like it had a dent in it but I couldn't see it inside the car when you flattened it.
is it not worth cutting the good front screens out? i cut out the front screens on the ones i strip, but i only do one or 2 a month just for some extra cash
@@BCB Unlike the rust buckets of days gone by cars are capable of lasting much longer & in the current climate of ULEZ only pre 06 cars should be scrapped (Unless they are a write off) as there is a shortage of affordable ULEZ compliant vehicles. Because they do not rust or corrode cars of today are perfectly capable of lasting 30 to 40 plus years.With the coming of EVs these will last even longer & when their time comes will go back to the makers to be upcycled into new EVs.

Hi, the main case is the Depollution of the cars to a professional manner, also the wamitab which includes all the site health and safety and procedures you need to carry out on a daily basis, we can go into this on a future video no problem 👍

How can a car only last 14 years? I drive a 23.5 year old car and it still drives like new. Did they neglect it or is Kia really that awful??
A lot of cars in the uk get scrapped at 12-15 years old
