@@grqfes It actually saddens me that the adjustable weight trend and superlight weight trend don't exist in the same timeline. For a while there were so many 110gram mice that came with extra weights that were essentially useless because the mouse was already heavy. On superlight mice it would be so great to be able to add weight as it would actually feel different. The orochi is kinda the only mouse that does this due to being able to choose AA and AAA weight, and the mouse feels a lot different depending on which one used. Also, I just realized boardzy said the orochi is heavy, but I wonder if thats partly because he prefers the AA. Orochi feels a lot heavier with the AA.
@@WARnTEA Beacuse that is called wasting resources on R&D, if you really just want a different weight in a mouse, nd it's a popular shape, someone would've already made a heavier/lighter clone of the shape

To be honest, for the availability and price alone, it's just better to buy an Orochi V2 and mod it. You can get it down to about 49g with an PR44 adapter. Hell... Even without any "destructive mods" you can have a good weight, I gotta mine down to 61g just using an AAA adapter and moding to use PR44. You can easy shove a lot of grams just removing a lot of plastic at the middle section on the Orochi V2, it will still look perfectly and will still have enough "structure".
Honestly for everyone else, assuming your hand is small enough and not 10 plus in width, the MZ1 is super easy to mod to a low weight. If you check out beardedbobs video you can remove a ton of weight just by having a nail clipper and getting rid of all the RGB stuff. Also, I was thinking about just leaving off the back hump of the MZ1 since I fingertip and that hump is like 7grams, I think thatd be a pretty easy non destructive mod. Hell you can actually do a lot non destructively to the MZ1 by just taking off the RGB diffusers you can drop it a couple grams as well. I think the Orochi is harder to mod, and the gains aren't as good, but obviously its super sick that you can just pop the hood on to hide your crimes.
Maybe so, but it's never going to be the same shape as an UL2, like the starlight is. Still my favourite shape for fingertip. I also have the Orochi V2, so I know the vibes
