    Fallout remover didn't compromise the clear coat on the headlights.
    That's one reason why i put a couple of old damp microfiber towel over them while i spray,
    Just to protect.

      Nope absolutely fine - the drying-in looked more dramatic than it was but one session of a chemical decon in 7 years won't do them any harm lol all good 👍🏼👍🏼

    As soon as I saw the thumb nail my first thought was also the video Graeme did, I watched that with great interest too!!
    Great how you explained though NOT to panic and that there is an easy solution to the problem 👏👏.
    I normally use GT's iron oxide a slightly different way to you. When I do a deep clean I use decon as the snowfoam then wash it in decon, rinse then apply Iron oxide and then use the decon shampoo over the top with a mitt then rinse the lot off. It's more of a time saving thing for me. Knowing that if it needs claying then some sort of machine polish may be needed or cheat and use Autoglym Super resin polish 🤭🤭.
    I cant wait till the next one to see how you're going to bring that scuttle panel back to life and what Lsp you've used too 🤔🤔
    Well done Mark 👍

      Thank you Paul 😊
      We all have our own little routines and none are right or wrong, they're just our own!! If you're happy with your process then it IS the right process! Nothing wrong with a bit of SRP now and again 🤣 always effective 👌🏼
      I'm looking forward to finishing off the last episode, hopefully won't be too long 😁👍🏼

    You’ve got me hooked for next time again already.. as you’ve been in the GT system could it be tyre serum to revive the plastic 🤔

    A really useful video Mark, a great help to a lot of enthusiasts. I actually like to use the fallout/snowfoam combo as I feel you get better results because of the extra dwell time. And dont rub my nose into the fact you have soft water, water in my area is harder than the Krays

    • @SparkleanAutos
      @SparkleanAutos  10 місяців тому +1

      I like the combo too Martin for the exact same reason - I generally let the fallout do it's thing for 2-3 minutes, then blanket with foam... It really highlights just how much there is too and certainly makes removing the FR much more efficient!
      I'll send you over a few litres of our lovely pillow-soft water 🤣
      Thank you Martin 😊👍🏼

    I've bought a litre bottle of Iron Oxide and am looking forward to seeing how it performs against my usual fallout remover, Korrosol. The added decon shampoo will be interesting to see how that works with the product

    • @SparkleanAutos
      @SparkleanAutos  10 місяців тому +2

      I can tell you from experience of using litres (plural lol) of both that they are both excellent products but both work in very different ways!! Korrosol is very much a quick reacting product for a car that is caked in fallout contamination and you don't want to mess about!! GT one is, in my view, much more suited for maintenance use - slower to react but much longer dwelling time, outstanding for deep cleaning wheels and just generally a fantastic all round product.
      I would, and do, repeatedly buy both and would say they're both top products in their own way, but they do work very differently!! 👍🏼

    Great video Mark, I’m glad you found the tip useful , I discovered it purely accidentally as well 😅, thanks for the mention & including my video link in with yours 🙌🏻
    Was that V1 or V2 GT iron oxide you were using here??

    • @SparkleanAutos
      @SparkleanAutos  10 місяців тому +1

      Thank you Graeme, that's what community is all about mate 😏
      It was V2 Iron Oxide, finished my V1 off a long time ago before it suffered another winter on the shelf lol

    Great tips Mark, i remember Graeme's video on that a while back, very good information.
    you could actually see how warm it must of been that day by the water evaporating off the plastic trim while you were drying the car.

      Graeme does indeed do reviews, he's very in depth & honest. I left a link to the video I mentioned in the description but here's his channel - youtube.com/@GMDetails?si=ItJYCKIaRDldcaEm
