Thanks for digging the band and your thoughtful comments. I think you were spot on. Just missing the "A Question" EP, but then again it was just released on CD so not really part of your vinyl collection. Keep up the great work. ✌🏼
Thanks Phil!! Apparently, there was a German vinyl release of A Question. I’m always on the hunt for that one. Thank you so much for watching and, of course, for the music. ✌🏻
Had no idea about Sacred Reich having a new album! After watching this video, I ordered up a copy, which arrived Wednesday, and have been blasting it all morning! I keep asking myself, could this album stomp any harder!? I mean, Goddamn! Lol. So thank you to Sacred Reich for a killer album, and thank you Old Head for bringing it to my attention!!🤘
Great video. I totally agree with you on Heal, definitely one of the most underrated metal albums of the 90s...so good. You should reach out to Phil about doing an interview. He's a really cool cat and he may surprise you and do the interview.
I was watching a couple of your videos in the last days. As Sacred Reich are one of my faves as well, I HAD to write a comment. There´s a bootleg LP called "Thrashing Frankfurt ´89" on Quaack Rec (QR 9002). I read the comment from Phil, talking about "A Question"... well, there´s a German pressing on "12 (Hollywood Records). Last but most important: There´s a reissue of "The American Way" as a double album on Displeased / Black Sleeves. The second record has the whole album as demo versions, "State of Emergency" being a totally different song, only the lyrics are the same as the album version.
American Way is by far my favorite. Such a solid band! Independent had one of my top favorites 'Product' and then on Heal 'Power of the Written Word'... amazing. Don't forget about the really cool 'A Question'... awesome. Anyways - Metal Blade is doing reissues of the first 3 on vinyl for preorder right now. I ordered all 2 variants of each just in case... because S.R.!
My repetitive dream is I meet some person/band that I really love and they offer to let me go grab my vinyl and get it signed.....and EVERY TIME I run home to grab it the albums are missing from my collection!!!! EVERY DAM TIME...and I wake up totally stressed out!
That’s funny Independent was my first riff I played it was on one string my friend laughed at me and told me I need to fatten it up and than showed me the power chords I was hooked with the Guitar ever since
Great band! Ignorance is not my cup of tea but Death squad is a great song. Surf nicaragua is simply perfect, same with The american way. Independent is very good and Heal ok but too modern. And the last cd is very often in my player. Love this album very much. No stinker album.
I have all their stuff on CD before the reunion album, and I want to get their first album on vinyl as it's easily available. Along with Nuclear Assault and Slayer they were my favorite thrash band. I never got their newest album. I just didn't care for any of the songs I heard. I thought Phil used to write such great choruses but I felt the choruses on the new album just seemed lazy. From the 3 singles I heard it's just the title of the song repeated...that always bores me

I've been on a hunt for the German 12" maxi of A Question for years, I only have the cassette- such a great song!
Can we PLEASE get a reissue of Independent? Pretty PLEASE! Thanks for all the good tunes over the years man. You guys are still kickin ass.
Really enjoyed that! Thank you 🤘💞
Thank you for watching!!

Still Ignorant needs a vinyl reissue along with Heal.
Cool video, Sacred Reich is a very very underrated band. The American Way is for me a landmark, a classic of Thrash Metal.
Is this the real Atheist?
I've starting to listen to the band and I'm really enjoying it so far
