You got the Bubble from Garry as thanks.
It's been a trend for a while now, but it really feels like a trademark of this channel now is "Recorded over several years." 🤣
Thorn crawling up into the corners of the tunnels looking for stuff when she full well knows there's nothing is exactly how I play Fallout games.
31:15 I admit I thought the reason the rifle was broken was because you shot the guy using it off the roof and he fell on top of it lol.
5:55 I don't think that's night vision, that's the green filter from the toxic gas and the headlamp.
iirc in that mission to get a gauss rifle, the military guy who climbs up to the small building's rooftop to act as marksman is scripted to always get got. I think everyone else can be saved but holy hell they don't make it easy. As you say, their survival isn't necessary for the best ending, but some such as Maj Tarasov can still be present for the ending sequence, improving your odds.
"what if you walk up to a motherfucker and say 'sorry, nothing personal, but you're not needed for the best ending'"
I think you want Pathologic for that.
I lost two comrades and decided to reload.
Dude how did you recruit so many people, please tell mee
So, I thought Monolith was defunct after the last game. This is why you could recruit a former Monolith soldier to help you reach Pripyat. What gives?
C-Consciousness is gone, leaving the Monolithians free to do whatever they want.
Unfortunately, the Monolithians were overwritten pretty thoroughly, so the disappearance of that controlling voice leaves them lost, following whoever takes charge first, or still wanting to serve the Monolith. And what do you know, most of the ones who take charge first are ones who still want to serve the Monolith.
It's something of a cult deprogramming issue. The cult just happens to be extremely hostile and have gauss rifles.
