- The Tick Tock Polka, also known as the Tik Tok Polka, stands as one of the most beloved American polkas, achieving near-official million-seller status for the legendary Frank Yankovic. Originally, this lively and infectious tune traces its roots back to an Italian song titled "Tic-tì-tic-tà." The infectious rhythm and spirited melodies of the Tick Tock Polka have transcended borders, capturing the hearts of audiences and solidifying its place in the rich tapestry of American polka music.
Alex Meixner is one of the most dynamic accordionists on the scene today. Meixner has performed around the world, notably at American festivals like The National Folk Festival and Central Park SummerStage, as well as at uncountable community celebrations and accordion-centric events. He has worked with Jack Black on the Sundance-screened, Netflix movie "The Polka King", with Post Modern Jukebox, and as an on-screen spokesperson for Hormel Pepperoni.

I love playing the Oktoberfests all across the country! Where have ya seen me and the band perform?
We were Rock-a-Polka'n to the AMB at Milwaukee's Germanfest multiple times, Wisconsin's Elkhorn DASFest, and West Bend Oktoberfest. A few of my favorites, Crazy Train, Thunderstruck, and of course, the Tick Tock Polka just to name a few. Hard to sit still with all that energy on stage. Hoping you'll be back to these in 2024. Liter beers, great music and food. Love it!
