I still have no idea how the accordion works, but this video was amazing.
big harmonica that you push and pull the bellows instead of breathing in and out.
each key has 4 reeds (low, 2 middle, high) and each button has 7 reeds on that instrument.
Its a wind reed instrument. The piano key ones are a lot easier than ones that only have buttons and not keyboard
Agree. This video is a waste of time. They should do people a favor and change the title.
I guess it doesn't exactly explain how *it* works, but it explains how to *make* it work.
i like how she says this is something i warm up with. *plays most complicated thing i’ve ever heard*
Lol
It's suposed to be super hard , it helps her get "into the action" as to say , to , well , warm up .
i love your comment, i just can't like it due to the lovely number it holds. :) kill'd it though, right.
Does that song have a name?
My thoughts exactly
I love how much Ksenija _feels_ every note she plays on the acordion.
The accordion is certainly the most underrated instrument in all of classical music.
Ksenija has brought a new respect and appreciation for this wonderful instrument. Because of her charm and talent, I've taken my accordion out of the closet and I'm playing it once again realizing it's endless potential.
Hello from Bharat, India.
We in India cannot seperate our musical legacy from Bollywood music. Raj Kapoor was the one who made this instrument very popular in India. We thank him for the genre he bought with his film songs.
You made a nice video for sure.
Thanks.
Love this artist - she is amazing.
Ксения-браво,браво,браво!!! Молодчина, вы приводите душу в порядок!
Her, playing the Accordion
Subtitles: [Laughter]
Beautiful in every way... Beautiful playing also beautiful demonstration...well done
Absolutely amazing! this lady is simply exceedingly talented! Besides, just love this instrument! No other instrument has this sweet warm melodious charming sound that brings out the spark, the youthfulness, the romantic side latently residing in one! Thank you for sharing this beautiful video!
Corridos made the accordion Nationwide I'm buying one next
I like this, i am Argentinian and the chamame is played whit the accordion, this is just wanderfull
That was so moving, and so intense. I don't know whether I want to laugh or cry.
she made it seem so easy, while she played such complex pieces.
I will laugh, for now.
Crying will come later.
Make no mistake. It took her years of training before she reached her current expertise level.
Is not easy or quick. You need to practice a lot.
Wow such a beautiful demonstration from an incredibly talented accordionist😍🥰👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful presentation. My dad learned to play the accordion aged 7 and played it throughout his life both privately to entertain friends and in concert with the Jacklyn Frets Orchestra based in Crewe Cheshire. Sadly he passed away last year aged 82 and every time I hear the accordion being played, I feel him in my heart. He would have loved this and I’m so delighted that there are so many other talented accordionists out there both young and old who are continuing to share the beauty and magic of this wonderful instrument. Thank You 🙏🏽 🪗💯⭐️✨🌈💫
I love this video, it's informative and watching the musician smile while playing the According just puts on a smile on my face, how can you not when you play the Accordion lol.
Here I am learning about accordions when I'm supposed to be doing my English essay
Better to study pure genius, check out her performance of the song, revelation!! Also I love the version of crazy that she played with cee lo green when he was in Lithuania or Romania, wherever this angel is from idk ckeck it out tho
This is fantastic. I hope to play this instrument someday with some friends whenever I
come to Germany
How wonderful! :-) Thanks for the explanation.
Unbelievable! Let me take my hat off to you! You are a wizard .
Why I felt curious about thing piano-banjo-typewriter-beanbag instrument I don't know but I enjoyed this video thoroughly.

That abrupt halt ,
broke my heart .
Whats the name of that beautiful music at 3:12
Bach’s prelude in c minor it’s great
Thanks @@chazzns2576
I owe u big time
Beautiful instrument, beautiful music, beautiful woman, beautiful stuff.
Thank you!
4:59 I thought she was going to play the mother brain music from super metroid
This is so cool!
I only ended up here after stumbling on Hungarian Rhapsody played on the accordion... but I learned something
Dude, the song she plays at 3:11 reminds me so much of the Homm2 Necromancer Theme, haha.
It's Bach's prelude in c minor. Check it out
That's your warm-up? 😅🙃
She is umbelilevebly in orther to play like her you need to study night & day
Why can't Australia have beautiful women like her ? I'm not just talking about her looks , it's the way she expresses herself , smiles , laughs & her national pride.
Who has national pride for Australia? This place isn't worth being proud for.
Peak cringe delivery from the anglosphere.
Because Australia, like most anglo countries, have a degenerate, puritan like culture of woman worship and entitlement that turns females into literal monsters.
everyone is beautiful in their own way
@@skejeton she’s more beautiful than most, her beauty is her genius and it’s truly lovely! It just radiates from her!!
excellent
...Богиня!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so cool
I thought for a sec that the somg in 1:44 was merry go round of life quite similar
Music !
why did you cut the piece of the end... It would've been amazing to hear all the piece played by her alone. I know she has a video playing it with more musicians, but...
КРУТО!!!!
In Mexico it's used A LOT for regional music, and I really don't like it, but she plays it like any classical pianist would play a piano, quite different, seems really hard to play
3:45
Tim 0:15
Beautiful! What is the name of the rusian folk tune at 00:17 ?
Yay!
Show us a little balkan beat😊
I didn’t think of the sound of the seas and waves, I thought the sound of Darth Vader breathing.
😊
What are the 7-8 button settings above the keyboard called??
Jow do we fix if they are stuck??
Pedro Sydney
They are called chin-registratiors that you can push with your chin to change the sound of the accordion, they are the same as the 15 regular ones but a select few.
I wonder how the buttons work?
Interesting general overview of the accordion, but the video does not answer the question posed by the video title.
It wasn't show how this instrument work...but only show how to playing on it. I look for how the sound produced, and i did not get it here
What's the name of the piece she plays at 1:45?
It is Chiquilin De Bachin by Astor Piazzola arranged by Franck Angelis.
So button and keyboard accordion are capable of same thing
120 buttons, 47 keys? Guess I'll never be a norteño now 😂
I still don't get how it works.
i like 1:33
The first half of this video was some of it's history and I still don't know how it works 😭😭😭 /neu
Who wouldn't LOVE to play her instrument all 5 minutes long!
Did she say flight of the bumblebee
Yes. She did mention it.
5:26 ...or of the Darth Vader... whatever it is.
You need your own channel. Or I need you to have your own channel : - )
All I could think of was old Nintendo games.
“ a warm up” 💀💀💀
That was a warm up?…….
The video is titled "How does the accordion works" and I wasted 7 minutes watching this without actually understanding how it works :facepalm
@@lightbetweendarkness6571 How does a computer work? Simple! You just press the start button.
I did not need to watch a video to understand that an accordion is played by pressing keys.
I wanted to know how an accordion WORKS, not how to play it. She pretty though.
Sounds sped up no gonna lie
I like when she doesn't tell you how an accordian works....zzzzzzz
Я лох!!!
SHOW OFF
So this was more or so just showing off
don't talk, just keep playing plz.
Was looking for How. Not When and Why. Thumbs down for me.
Change the title of the video, because this video is useless for anybody that wants to know how the accordion works. Great musician nonetheless.
stayhomeHi There this is Mr C. T. Boxill-Harris, I was wondering if they need to do the exact same version of Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime, why don’t they just Replace the Synthesiser String Sound to an Musette Accordion sound, and also Replace the Xylophone Sound to a 5 Times More Deeper Chime Bell or Even a 6 Times More Deeper Still Drum Sound, Because it is Still my Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Favourite Song Ever Since I was about 11 Years of Age Thank You 😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉👍😉👏👏😉😉😉😄👍😅👏👏😅👍😉👏👏

Her voice sounds much better than any accordion.
She's playing with her head and face as well.
I still can't believe how accordionists can remember the position of 120 keys WHILE playing the melody with the other hand.
Just mind blowing to me.
Practice, practice, practice.
6:13 That performance gave me the chills! Bravo
1:15 mind whirling at the idea of an accordion playing at a funeral
There's a new kind of Variant the Luttbeg Accordion which is being revived.
I met Ksenija in person in a concert in Munich and was very impressed by her skills. I named my cello after her.
I just want to know how the left side of the accordion works.
What I'd like to know is how players remember the finger movements. For most instruments, you can actually see where your hands are at all times. With the keys on either side of the accordion and a large box seemingly blocking your view of your fingers, how do you remember which key makes which sound?
Edit: Yeah even you do it. I've noticed a lot of players don't even glance at the keys as their head is too busy moving to the rhythm of the music they're producing. So that makes it even more impressive that accordion players can remember where the keys are since they're often lost to the sound of their own music.
Can anybody name the song she plays at the end? I can't find it.
It is Chiquilin De Bachin by Astor Piazzola arranged by Franck Angelis.
A tango by the master Astor Piazzola
She’s mastered the accordion.
Russian folk tune so obvious warm up song sounds like flight of bumble bee
My abuelo used to play the accordion in church.
I feel so moved after hearing the final piece! The accordion is so evocative to me of the past, kinda like seeing black and white film. But hearing the tone of the instrument combined with a composition that has, what I would consider a somewhat pop-y feel, the past and the present were combined into one. Bravo!
Nice video👍
I like it
Блестяще. Коротко и красочно!
