the rule of pony walas are simple you have to either trek with them or leave them on their own,they wont wait for u so better not to keep costly items with them like laptops or other gadgets they will leave your stuff to the campsite n return.they only make sure that ur stuff is ok.

I think you should let that boy reach to the designated destination as per his speed with your stuffs, so he can return back his other destination. He will not stay with you whole day n waited for you just for 1000rs n you r vlogging as well. For that you should carry your own luggage n trek slowly as your pace or u can hire him for few days and accordingly pay him.

I have been there on that tarsar marsar trek this year with my frends we were a group of 4 nd only 3 of us went to tarsar nd marsar as the other one preferred to stay at lidder wathh ,it was really worth of visit nd i will nvr forget those goosebumps which i can still feel when ever i recall the beauti of those 2 lakes ❤ nd i would like to add here the same kind of thing happened with us like u got some trouble with the horse man .ours horse man took an hour's of argument over being late he just threwed our stuff over there and started arguing nd was olso asking for more money nd as we refused he delebrately throw out stuff so hard on the ground ,thanks to almighty everything was okay nd nothing was broken but if it were we could have been in a mess
Conclusion:if anyone is treaking ovee there stay safe from thes horse man ❤
Its very similar on both side of Kashmir. Often have these porters and guide who would be the nicest people to start and suddenly they would change their colours when you are on a complex situation.
I visited Kashmir in 2008 first time and a shikara wala missbehaved with us and disappointed us as a tourist

My review on sunamarg pony Ride:
Everything is fine. But I had a terrible experience today from A union guy who goes with the team as a rescue guide. The guy was addicted and he makes a trap for me. He took the rope of my kids horse and ask for 5k Rupees and threatened me he will harm my son. I immediately give all money in my wallet to him. The guy was drunk and started fighting with other horse rides. I request everyone to be very careful while choosing pooney ride , make everything finalized before you start ride specially very carefully about union safety guys. They put trap when they see small family having kids.
I request Kashmir police to stop such unwanted incidents which is extremely bad for Kashmir image.
About the area it is very beautiful. So beautiful that you can't believe in your eyes until you see it live

The problem with horseman is not too serious actually the men accompanying him are also getting too much time to reach upto him,btw he can't wait whole day for a bulky man who even is not seemingly viewed,in track one really feels irritated when the men with u r lacking behind, definitely leading person can't wait movement after movement.u make vlog ,earn money and expect somebody wait for u . That's not good.
They are paying him, it's not free. He already mentioned that in the last two days they were also with other people but their experience was amazing. You can see the way the horse boy was talking and behaving was unbearable

After watching the full edited video, I have to say you were at fault! You kept stopping to shooting the video from all angels, stopping to get the best shot, and stopping the horse too, over and over again! And on top of that, your friend is out of shape and cant keep up! How is that the Horse owner's problem? His responsibility was only to get the luggage to the agreed place, nothing else! And then after he got you to where you needed to get to, you still didn't pay him! He had to then go and find your friend and have faith that he would get paid or not! I think you need to humble yourself and also think of it from his point of view! AND ALSO YOUR AND YOUR FRIENDS SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, NOT THE HORSE OWNERS!

This is what happened to me in Chandanwari, Kashmir, India. We hired 4 Horses for people to take us to Top of Chandanwari. That crook horseman took us half way and then demanded double money!! I said to my friend say nothing to horse man. When we returned to base I went to Policeman and told him the truth about this blackmail trick. The policeman beat him up and said don't give him any money. He is damaging our Kashmiri Nation's Reputation and Horseman started to begging us for forgiveness etc. etc so we pay him what we initially agreed and came by bus to our hotel. Now I live in London, England. Retired Aircraft Engineer.

I can understand what happens to uh, I stayed in Kashmir for 10-15 days and met many scammers, I was also scamed, but I also met very good and helpful people... but because of some people, everyone gets defamed.
