You’re so right when you talk about being in a band being such a commitment… signed or not signed… I don’t think people who haven’t played in a band would fully understand the time… money & energy it takes. When we were talking about recording our long overdue 2nd album… it was pretty much 2 years of hard work… dedication & time… lots of time… but… & I’m sure you’ll agree… the passion for your art is what drives you through all the hard times. Good to see you as always sir🤘🏻
Thank you mate! It’s so true. The work that goes in to get new material over the line is immense. There’s the pressure you put on yourself for it to be better than the last stuff too. It’s never ending 🤣 Still love it though! 🤣 Like you say, it’s hard for people in bands to understand this some times too. If you don’t put the time & dedication in, you’re just playing at it really.
I can now sleep at night again :D I didn't know Lancaster even had a scene. The only time I was in Lancaster, I spent the better part of a week on campus, and only had half a day to check out the town itself. I know what you're sayimg about how being in a band requires a lot of commitment, and that can be really difficult if you have to balance that with your day job, you family etc. Best of luck in Marty's contest.
Portrait of a struggling band, it must be frustrating!. Like you said you have to love it. My youngest son has picked up the guitar , I would love to see him in a band. good luck in Martys contest.

Really cool to hear about how they came together, I always find that so interesting. Some good advice you gave too, especially for someone like me as I've just joined a new band myself!
