Nice! This was one of the first mods I did on my IS. I did that the, premium start button, touch dome light from an RC, and android screen. Also, thanks for the idea on the side molding pieces. Ordered them but still waiting for them. Eta is early December sadly since my car is atomic silver
@@Und3rgroundLex so far so good. I like it. I currently have a wiring hardness issue where the screen will randomly turn off and not come back on until I mess with the wires in the back but the seller has sent me a new harness. Still waiting on it
@@michaelxiong5395 nice nice yeah I’m debating on upgraded my screen but not sure what brands to look into since I heard mixed pro and cons from a lot of different brands.
@@Und3rgroundLex Yeah that's what I heard too. I just made sure the one I Had was the one with the Qualcomm processor. That's the best processor for these android ones unless you go lexion but Lexion is the most expensive. I use it mainly for a bigger screen not carplay so I leave it on the OEM system all the time.
@@michaelxiong5395 I have one with the Qualcomm processor aswell. I use the wireless Apple CarPlay almost daily and no major issues so far after almost 4 months
The front lip is from Seibon and the canard was from my previous seibon lip that got destroyed. So the only thing left that was not damaged was the canards and I basically used those on the sides lol.
Yo!! Ive been wanting a new mirror so bad! The little green light that always comes on when you turn the car on drives me nuts!! The green light on this one isnt too bad. Wait, would that RCF mirror work on my 2016 IS? I want a better mirror, but not sure which one would work for me.
Yeah it would work but just make sure what features your car brings. If you don’t have lane departure then most likely it’ll be like mine. Just the auto dim feature. But yeah should work for a 2016 like mine
4:23 After you remove the oem mirror and unplug it, would you be able to hide that exposed clip (the white part thats hanging down) behind the liner? I have a mirror dash cam and I want to install a mounting bracket. I will have to completely remove the oem mirror so I won't need to connect that plug in after.
