I just ordered the 5 way top. I counldnt decide on the color but after this video I ordered the same . Thanks for the video. Do a video of what's in the bag and how you arranged it.
Let me know how you like it! And got it, yeah, a WITB video will be coming at some point. Let me know if there are other things you want to see and check out the other videos on the channel!
James, beautiful color on the Hoofer bag! (it will match my Ping G400 headcovers 😉) Questions: Do the double straps get in the way when you put this bag on a riding cart? Also, some people complain that it's difficult to get your clubs in/out of the bag on the Hoofer, vs the 14 bag with individual slots for each club. Can you share your experience with that?
Hi Jim, I have some travel coming up so may not get to it beforehand, but I'll try to make a quick video demonstrating the presence/lack of club tangle in the next few days if I can get to it. As for the double straps, I haven't personally noticed the straps getting in the way. The material is pretty durable so I haven't noticed any need to be careful when tightening the cart straps. My main quibble with the cart experience is the absence of any way to secure the legs when I want to use the bag on a push cart or a golf cart. Thanks for your comment!
Yeah I had the hoofer lite from the 2021/2022 season. I'd say the 2023 lineup isn't that different. In my opinion the Ping bags are a clear second to my Vessel Player III.
@@golfwithjames dude I was just looking at these!! They’re so sick I want a vessel now. Just not sure which to choose, the stand bag for a possible(unlikely) carry round. Or a cart bag for my push cart 🤣
Does either bag have full length dividers? If not, how do you think they will work with midsized grips, as far as bunching and getting hung up in the bag.
Midsize should be fine! I have sonar+ grips on my clubs and doesn't seem to be an issue. Believe none of the bags have true full length dividers. The 14-way divider has dividers about halfway through if I remember correctly (already shipped it back)
I have midsize grips and carry 14 clubs. I haven't noticed bad club tangle with these, but not sure if other reviewers are comparing to 14-way dividers (which IMO wouldn't be a fair comparison).
@@golfwithjamesthanks! I have the last gen but may get another color way to your point. I don’t either but it actually did come in useful a couple weeks ago on a trip 😂
unreal video man. Been searching for days on a review on the 2023 hoofer and could not find anything. Im awaiting the same one in black now, Cheers.
Yeah I've been waiting for a while too (I own the last iteration of the Hoofer Lite). Glad you enjoyed!
I feel like we've crossed paths on our local tracks. Thanks for the review. I finally ordered the 2023 Hoofer and we'll see you out there!
Nice!! I'm sure we'll be running into each other at some point. Actually just took my 2023 Hoofer to Bandon and it held up great.
@@golfwithjames Bandon! Jealous.

Good video my man. I have the old hoofer lite idk if I stay or go to Titleist carbon 4.

Thank you for the video. You skip the pocket that has the rain hood. That's pretty cool.
Yes! I personally never used the rain hood feature on my previous Ping bags so it slipped my mind to mention. Whoops!
@@golfwithjames it was a cool review. I just bought one today. Good luck on the greens!
How’s the gray/white held up?
Held up great so far! I've been using the Hoofer a little more lately. I'm not a fan of the stand leg. Feels flimsy compared to the Vessel.

Do you get club tangling as many reviewers mention? Or is it pretty manageable?

Nice Video…. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for watching!
Any idea what bag has bigger storage
Hoofer 2022 or 2023?
I'd say there isn't much of a difference between the two years apart from colorway and some styling
The water bottle pocket on the 23 hoofer is what is holding me back from buying. Looks like any water bottle will just fall out.
I thought that too but I've had no issues with it! I use a longer, thin hydroflask and it's stayed secure.
Yeah I used a 32 Oz water bottle in the pocket and never had a problem its actually pretty deep
You skipped the 1 pocket I was curious about 🤦🏻
Lol my bad! Which one was it?
Same, I think…. On the left side does it still have the zipper pocket with the rain hood attachment, similar to the 2022?
@@SMNC728 it does! I just don't need/use it because I just keep my top uncovered when it rains
