Great voices but why is every scene so dark and lit almost solely by spotlights? I get going for a minimalist set but surely we can suggest a clearer sense of place in some of these...and light the whole stage?
1) Why in "Luck be a Lady" do the dancers all look like they're taking a piss? 2) Why the drab color scheme? It's more reminiscent of the awful Oliver Platt/Megan Mullaly revival than the great Nathan Lane/Faith Prince one. I love "Guys and Dolls" so much I even go to high school productions. But this one? No thanks.
Mullaly did a concert version, but was not part of a full production on Broadway. ...and you do realize theatre is meant to be re-interpreted and not every production has to be the same, right? LOL
loved this show when I saw it in October. Everyone is so talented, I especially enjoyed Phillipa soo
PHILLIPA AS SARAH IS SO FREAKING PERFECTTTTTT
BRING IT TO BROADWAY😭😭😭
Everyone keep in mind they only rehearsed for about a week
WHAT
@@brynnwilliamson3444 yea I believe it was about 1-2 weeks of rehearsal… short amount of time with this musical
having played Nicely Nicely many times THIS IS THE ARRANGEMENT I WANT!!!!!

Not the exact but somewhat close
I did not know I needed to see James Monroe Iglehart and Jessie Mueller in a duet/musical together! 1:40
This is the best show I have ever seen! Everything was incredible!
As a fan of both Tangled and Hamilton, I’m playfully jealous for those who saw James and Phillipa!
give us the pro shot dont be shy
It's so cute knowing Pippa and Steve are married
This looks to be a serviceable production of an old Broadway standard.

Kind of dark
I went in person and it was not this dark. This is likely just how the camera registered it
