the distortion sound can be easily fixed by lowering the gain nob and then 'Normalize' it later in post :D
I skipped the video to see the sound of the microphone right away and I was surprised by you singing 'Betty'. I LOVED THIS
I'm so glad you did!! Betty has to be one of my favorites to play on the guitar for sure!
The clipping and sound distortion are because of how close you are to the mic and settings.
My solution: (windows 10)
I change the volume of the mic in
> Sound settings
> Sound Control Panel
> Recording
> click on the mics name
> properties
> levels
Try playing with the
The volume slider on your pc
The gain knob on the mic
And the distance you are from the mic
If you record yourself and there's a lot of room noise, please use a blanket or a closet or just go away from electronics and fans. It's not the mic's fault, it's the recording environment.
For me, I get the best results when it's about 50/50 on the gain and knob.
Honestly I'm quite a beginner who knows almost nothing, but please search up vids about recording entertainments, tips and tricks, clipping and volume levels if you have problems.

Yeah thats what i was looking for, good test. Probably i'll go for the Blue Yeti Blackout for my amateur songs. It's more expensive but i guess we should see as a investment in the future. Thanks for the video
Don’t get a blue mic in 2021 there’s just no point in them anymore they were good in 2016 but now there’s so many better options

Have you tried to lower mic sensitivity and raise the volume of your recording in post production? People say that sometimes it helps to sing the louder parts above the mic to prevent the sound from clipping. You sound great though:)
I haven't tried that...I probably should have put that in this video. Maybe I'll test it out on my own sometime. Thanks!

hey! I just record using Garageband and that way I can add background vocals/instrumentals to my raw audio! hope that helps!

Really enjoyed your singing. You have a very pretty Voice. I will look up the Mic because you Sound great with it. You should try a separate mic for your guitar or recording the guitar first then the vocals on a different track.

You have connected the microphone to the laptop and also your earphones to the laptop.Then how come you are recording it through your camera live?
I aligned the audio from the laptop with the camera audio in my editing software :)

I have a competetion of singing....i am using this mic...my issue is my laptop accepts this as an input...and i can see the bars moving up and down ...so it is working...i know how to set thia appartus...but idk the later part in the laptop..when i say something in the mic...i couldnt hear my sound amplified..like in the surroundings, i cannot hear like iam speaking in a mic..but the bar is moving...plse help me fix this my friend..
