Typically, when I build a house in these old versions I only really build them because I like building pretty houses. The interior tends to go untouched 😅. I really respect the amount of detail you put in every corner of your builds! It's quite impressive. Keep it up!

It's crazy to see a lot of people playing beta 1.7.3 still this days. I started playing Minecraft 2 months ago but I still like playing older versions to see the evolution and what people can make even with the few blocks in those versions

I have to say im really impressed with what youve done here. Despite the limited block choices in this version, it was still possible even back then to make good looking worlds and builds. That to me shows how well beta minecraft holds up!

You got any building tips for making houses? I just can't seem to nail the look for the life of me and I've been stuck scouring these types of videos for days now looking for anything I can see.
Honestly I just find a picture of a real life house that I like and do my best to replicate it, changing things here and there as they arise. I also tend to overuse fences and trapdoors as I'm sure you noticed lol but they seem to be the best thing to easily add depth in this version.

Duping, or cheating in general really ruins the game for me as well. One solution is to gather up the amount of coal you duped, and then throw it away.
You should create a new world and see if restarting would put you back by too much for you or if its something your willing to do. I have definitely deleted a world for a similar reason and regretted it. It has also made me really motivated to build a new world though so really you won't know till you try.
Hey its your world you should play it however you like. Some people think that the annoyancefix mod I use is a little cheaty but I like it. Everybody decides where their own line is in this game which is what makes it so great.

I've been playing it since around April 2022 and because the newer versions aren't as good as the older versions.

I duped some sand in the beginning of my world and then decided I just wouldn’t do it anymore. I still play and love my world.
