@@_little_G_yes there is a language barrier but signs are in English as well. Please do your research before going. A JR pass is needed and you can’t get it in Japan. It has to be purchased before arrival. I research and studied the culture for 6 months before going and it paid off. The ppl are kind and helpful and they take their culture and social norms serious.

Wow! A double whammy-I was so excited to watch this trip since it's at the top of my bucket list, and then... BAM! Congratulations!!! We're so happy for you guys. It looks like Delta took great care of you on that long flight. You even got to see the red carpet at Tokyo International Airport. It's so funny how in Japan, even the toilet can seem as fun as an amusement park ride, lol. 7-Eleven, vending machines, and ramen too-dang, you guys hit all the Japan bucket list items. We will keep the flight attendants snacks in mind if we ever do another international flight we normally try to get a photo with them that they can have! Most do an amazing job and the pilots are always inviting our son into the cockpit to learn about the controls….. So awesome!
We are doing the same trip with Delta and to Haneda in a couple of weeks. I got Comfort + because we are traveling with our 7 year old daughter and we will have a three seat setting which will work great for us. I wish I could afford Delta One, though! Have fun guys!

The premium select was the same price as first class. If that was the case I was wondering why you guys didn’t just to first class. ❤ hope you're having a great time in japan. I've only been there once but we hiked up Mount Fuji which was definitely worth it it's not massively difficult, but reservations are required and available times may be limited.
Welcome to Japan ! Have a great and precious time💓 It is a waste to eat ramen more than once. There are so many more delicious foods in Japan!! Yakitori, wagyu beef, tonkatsu, eel, soba, udon, and okonomiyaki are must-tries🍀 I highly recommend going to a restaurant that specializes in each of these. We have recommended menus and affordable set menus. Drink Japanese beer, plum wine, shochu, whiskey, and sake. The self-service coffee at convenience stores is also delicious! Katsu sandwiches and melon bread are also popular🎵 (Melon bread is just similar in shape to the fruit melon🍈)
