As a bicycle courier in London I can confirm from my experience that the Chinese replica of Lezyne Power Drive 1100i, which is named EasyDo EL-1110 last twice longer than the original. And it's four time cheaper.

Also , I don't wanted to have my expensive Lezyne stolen during my daily work and I start using the EasyDo. Tha Chinese light last two years including the winters(with one service to dry the electronic components from incide after one day under havy rain) , and the original Lezyne from month of March untill September. By far the single most helpful and insightful bike light comparison video I've ever seen. The fact that you took time to not only do a full unboxing/specs walkthrough, but then do a comparison on a dark road gives me the best picture possible of how good these lights are and how they compare to each other. Thank you!
I've own a Gaciron 1000lm V11 light for a year. This is the best purchase I've made in terms of front light ! The V11 is a cylindrical light without a battery. You need a battery pack but it's small at 2.5" or 6cm long. I bought a 10000 mAh flat phone battery pack that I put in a triathlon type top tube bag. The great thing is, as batteries become more and more energy dense and less expensive, I can "upgrade" and prolong the light autonomy and the battery pack for other use on the bike or elsewhere. The 1000lm is great at any speed. I highly recommend Gaciron products.
The Gaciron stuff just feels so well made too. All the edges are machined nicely, there's no creaks or rattling. It's quality stuff. Same goes for towild to be fair.

I use what is arguably the most famous Chinese brand amongst westerners, namely Fenix. They made their mark with regular flashlights before entering the bike light market. I have the Fenix BC30R, which retail for $130 US, but can be found for under $100. Another well-known flashlight brand is Nitecore; they offer the BR35 at roughly the same price.
My bicycle cost 14000$. Only the best parts... But on bike light I wouldn't spend more then 50bugs, since they are so freaking unreasonable priced. I work in an technical field and know what they are really worth, you are so spot on with your review...
These are usually made in the same factory. The big brands design the light, the factory copies it and sells it loads cheaper. I bought a beard trimmer from Amazon recently and it's better than any top branded I've ever owned and 1/4 the price
It's very cool that you talked about the shape of beam itself 21:49 at least for me, this is really really important not to blind oncoming cyclists. I will never use any flashlight type of beam.
Excellent comparison! I got the little flashlight bc 700 lumen one and it’s fantastic value. It can’t keep up with my lezyne 1300xxl but it was 1/4 of the price and has a much better flashing mode. Also super lightweight
I appreciated this video. I’ve been watching a lot of reviews about different brands of heights at different power levels and have no idea I could essentially get the same thing for a fraction of the price if I knew what to look for. Good job!!!!
I got the Gaciron V9D 1800. It is just amazing. I have Cygolite 1,100 and the Gaciron is really more powerful. You can hold the power button 2 seconds for the Gaciron and it will do a super fast flashing in two modes at 1,800 lumens it is amazing. He didn’t show that in the video. Thanks for the video.
using Gaciron 400 lumen a year, bought 17$ from AliExpress. Zero problems. Works great, good for city. In stobe mode it is impossible to stay unnoticed. Would like if it had a mode like car high beams with remote.
You don't do things by halves, do you? You should have gone to see if Belinda with the Bazookas had anything. I dunno though, I can see why people are wary of Chinese manufacturing for carbon (OK, actually, no i can't) but mass-produced consumer electronics I think it's a no-brainer.

You mentioned the red tail-light may not be as bright in the video as is apparent to your eyes. That's a good call. Some smartphones have color corrections or color schemes or similar settings. The settings can de-emphasize or emphasize certain colors in canned color "schemes" available to the user. Some schemes for example provide a "bright" or "rich" color setting or alternatively a setting that provides a "flat" color rendition. It depends on the phone. Of course, video editors can do the same sort of thing in post-production and affect the apparent results and the user may not know about the settings as some of the editors are very complex with lots of features. Also again, setting like Gamma can make a major difference in apparent color rendition, brightness, contrast, saturation, etc.
You are NOT wasting your time. Finding review for chinese-made light, let alone a thorough one is next to impossible. I need your opinion though. I rode through mostly well-lit paved road with a few poor-lit stretches due to overgrown trees or being simply too wide for the street light. My main concern is to spot potholes and either avoid or brake in time. Do you think 800 lumens is enough for this? I'm tempted by Gaciron's 800 lumens light because the 1800 lumens version is 3 times the price and I have concern about blinding the car in front of me too.
Alas, nowhere on the Internet have I seen shooting a light spot of bicycle headlights or bicycle lights from a quadrocopter, but many people need this, for example, those who drive along winding forest paths and even side illumination is important to them. If there is such an opportunity, they could try such a test.
Another design point I don't understand is why manufacturers don't seem to routinely provide a 10,000mAh LiPo cell on these standalone bike lights? As a result these lights don't shine as bright as they could for as long as they could. They could do so for very nearly the same price-point as these LiPo cell configurations are now fairly common in Powerbank designs and their prices have come down substantially. For example, we can now get a Powerbank with a 10,000mAh LiPo cell for under US$15, and several I've tested actually do provide very nearly that full capacity in the real-world. So, for an added ~$3 BMC per light one could obtain a light with 2x longer lasting light at the same intensity output. A 10,000mAh LiPo cell can be shaped to fit inside the larger lights with no problem and would supply about 2x more usable time than the existing 4000 to 6000mAh Li-Ion lights. I'm also very suspicious of any 6,000mAh claims on these kinds of lights if they're using "standard" 18650 Li-Ion cells (not LiPo cells). EVERY light I've tested that used 18650 cells fails to meet its own specified capacity. For example, a "4,000mAh" often provides less than 3,000mAh (< 75% of claimed capacity) down to Vt=3.0V at load of 1A (less than half the load of a 1,000 Lumen light at 3.7V) so not very harsh test conditions. In my experience, quality Li-Ion or LiPo cells provide 90% or higher of rhe claimed capacity.
Your first video after your accident is about lights. Is it some kind of a metaphor ? 🤔 "You will see the light at the end of the tunnel" Meaning in these difficult times, you will see things progressively improve ... keep the moral up !
Excellent range of lights examined... thanks for the links too, will order today! OMG broken leg? Please get well soon! 2 years ago my entire left side: collar bone (3/4 broken), hips, knee & ankle were smashed (oil & rain) & were 10% thicker from swelling... Physiotherapist predicted 3 months but aside from the collarbone I mostly "recovered" in 30 days by going to the pool 5 days a week for an hour of "water cycling". The water pressure helps with healing, so I hope Weinan, Xi'an has swimming pools nearby.
Thanks Horace. Hope it helped guide your choice. I'm glad you're recovered from your fall. When I read of other people's recoveries, it gives me strength.
Gaciron V9F600 (600 lumens) is much better than the 400 lumens version, the lens is even German road legal (stvzo). About the same price. The same form factor.
Awesome review very comprehensive your the reason why I bought my hyper winspace wheels and many other things related to cycling a sport I truly have had a lifetime relationship with for the seeing nature and living well . the lights are nice but you can get a 1600 lumen headlight with a life time warranty from SERFAS that you can replace at, practically, any LBS in the states for 189.99$
I have been using the Towild 700 for a few years now (a slightly older model) and it’s pretty great for what I do but only lasts 1:30 on the medium setting. I use it on a China-direct garmin mount off the stem.
It would be a WONDERFUL service if when you list these lights below the video, you include these crucial data so people don't have to go to every light webpage to MAYBE get the information (often not included by seller): 1) Lithium battery type? (this *assumes* Lithium battery is used) ((e.g. 4x 18650; 2x 21700; 2x 26650, "foil" pouch; etc) and if possible the *configuration* (e.g. 1S1P;2S1P; 2S2P; etc) and *claimed* mAh of each cell in the battery) 2) IF POSSIBLE, maximum current and battery pack voltage (depends on configuration) 3) Wide or narrow beam focus LENS? (e.g. spot or "fog" light) 4) What KIND of lens is used? (e.g. simple convex, simple reflector, TIR (Total Internal Reflection)) 5) Is case approx 90 to 100% metal (provides some heatsinking) or mostly plastic (none or minimal heatsinking) 6) CONFIRMED LED type/number and manufacturer (e.g. T6/Nichia; T6/Cree; XM-L2/Samsung; etc) Manufacturer/seller claims of Lumens, Watts, and "runtime hours" are often either wildly inflated or outright lies so actual hard data on battery and LED types and configurations are useful data. I do realize it's a lot of extra work and getting inside some light cases can be very challenging.
Good Day. I have been a loyal Gaciron buyer. I have bought 9 models so far. I only have 1 problem. My most expensive V20D-1700 is malfunctioning/no longer working properly. I am in the Philippines. I have talked to almost every seller and they said there are no service centers for repair. One shop told me they do not repair items that are not from them despite me showing a receipt and actual box. Gaciron should have a repair center for your beautiful lights or atleast provide us manuals on how to open it and do it ourselves. Such a waste of money if I would have to trash this. Thank you.

Didn't waste your time at all. It great when we can get some objective tests on things that come from Chinese suppliers as it is really hard to filter what is good on Fleabay and Aliexpress. Great vid mate.
I think the cheapest one is good enough to ride in a city. The main reason you got light there is to be seen and you don't need a lot of lumens for that.
No words about those lights beam cut-off features and light distribution charts or pictures of the light distributon on the vertical white wall outdoor...
The main problem with bicycle lights, is they are not beam shaped, so anyone in your front gets blinded. In cars you get beam shaping so light doesnt go up.
I've trying both Towild BR1800 and Gaciron V9D-1800, and additional Ravemen PR1200 as benchmark comparison. The Gaciron 1800 is more legit 1800 lumens because it was far stronger than my Ravemen PR1200. Gaciron 1800 is also warmer tint than Gaciron 1600 one which is more useful for off road. The downsides of Gaciron 1800 is they using blue decoration side visibility lens which kind of ruining tint color. The golden version of limited Gaciron V9D-1800 are better since they still had yellow decoration ring which blend nicely with warmer tint color. Towild BR1800 isn't real 1800, when both flood and throw emitter light up, probably only close to around 1200 lumens in my observation. They take max theoretical lumen output (throw emitter 1100 lumens, flood emitter 700 lumens), hence 1800 as marketing purpose. But in real world isn't close to 1800 lumens. They also had ODM with different brands such as RockBros BR 1200/1800, they identical headlight just with different label. But both of them is still unmatched with superior Ravemen PR1200/1600 build quality and stronger finish. After two years of abuse use my Ravemen PR1200 still looks new, almost resist from cosmetics defects, compared with both of them which I owned around two month, it clearly shown bruise and scratch around their alloy body. Besides of rigid Ravemen quality, they easily serviceable and gaining access to internal are really piece of cake. I do that because after hundreds of charging cycle I found my batteries are starting dud, hence I replace with larger Samsung INR 3500 mAH batteries, resulting 7000mAH in total, albeit no longer calibrated properly with timer display, now it clearly has longer runtime than standard 5200 mAH battery. So for folks looking for quality Chinese light, just go with Ravemen. They made some self conatined western brands such as Cygolite/Serfas really obsolete, after all they still made in China too. Gaciron and Towild are still quality headlight, but they still leave something to be desired.

There's a lot of vids on the PR1200/Pr1600 and the prices are quite cheap. From the manufacturer and in China I just went for the PR1600 as its only $78usd. I can do my exercise in the late evenings now. I was assuming that the all in one build meant that repairs, or battery replacements after 500 charges or so would be impractical. Were the batteries slotted in or soldered?
As a delivery cyclist who uses lights constantly I would like to see how these lights perform after a few months. I have not found one yet that survives 6 months.
My CygoLite exPiLions 850s are still going strong after 4, 5, 6 (? many!) years -- and you can take along a spare battery. Worth every cent. Just be careful with the charge port covers: be gentle and they will be fine. Be rough and you can pull 'em off.
Can the recharhable battries be replaced on the towild 1800. I think this is something that should be mentioned on all reviews of any lights. I would not buy a reasonably expensive light without the batterys being able to be changed even that means opening screws. This is part of durability functional longevity, if it is a permenantly sealed unit, it is built in obsolescence and not a practical purchess for long term use.
It was very interesting watching this video, dont think you've wasted your time and thank you! I am now thinking that for a regular commute something like gaciron 400 would be fitting, which is perfect for me
Just a heads up. Don't buy any lights from x-tiger, the rechargeable batteries they use are the cheapest batteries of the worst quality and not the mAh stated in the description. My front light was ok but starting loosing power after only a few months.
It's odd not to see an actually not round reflector light represented. Infun GT-200 that is actually pretty good. Bit more on the flood side than throw but works quite well.
Hi i just bought a rockbros 850 lumen 10000mah. Still not tested for how long it would last. But it says it can last for atleast 6hrs. Can be a powerbank too.I bought it for less than 20usd. It came from china too. Im from the philippines.
Thanks for the review mate. A couple of questions, are they all white lights or do some of these produce warmer tints? Which ones have a good antiglare/horizontal cut off? It seems the towild 1800 has a good cut off, maybe the towild 1600 too? regarding tint it's always hard to tell on camera
Bought a Niterider 600 or 700 a decade ago for $150, great bright light, shame it got stolen. I'm looking at the Towild BC02-1000 for $25 on Aliexpress, hard to tell if it'll be as bright tho.
Thank you soooooo much for making this video!! I live further north than just about any city most people can name so then sun already sets at 16:08!!! And the nights are still getting longer!! I’ve been really happy with my cateye volt 800 but I’ve been wanting to order a second front and rear light from aliexpress as I prefer to ride with two of each for that day when one of them dies 50km from home. So this couldn’t have come at a better time!
China Cycling only zero to a few minus degrees during the day lately. I think by December 21st the sun rises after 10am and sets by like 3pm or something. But then it doesn’t get dark for like 6weeks in summer so you can ride forever without even thinking about lights!!
Thanks for the review! can you please tell which of these would be the best for not blinding drivers? I'd like to know if Gaciron 1600 or Towild 600 has evenly distributed light or cut off from the top?
Unfortunately, showing how "bright" a light is on UA-cam is usually pretty meaningless, as most people use a camera with auto-brightness, contrast, gamma, and/or other imaging automatic processing for "best" result. Even a "dim" light can look "bright" because the camera artificially adjusts the image. A "bright" light can also be auto-adjusted to appear to be less bright in a video because it overwhelmed the exposure. Edited to add: This is easily seen in this video when you look at demonstrations of how bright a light is when shined on his hand. I couldn't see any brightness difference between the 1800 Luman and 800 Lumen lights. His hand just looked way over-exposed in multiple images. Although, I did note he mentions he "locked" the exposure for the street-light scenes...however, exposure setting is not the only factor that can affect apparent brightness. Your dark street/street light examples are the best examples I've seen in quite a few bike light comparison videos.
those lights look amazing - I think everyone likes a clean handlebar so if you maybe know some lights which are good for mounting under a garmin / go pro mount (the light would be upside down) let me know - thanks

Thanks for the detailed comparison. Only leaves my with a couple comments: Do any of those headlights use solid handlebar mount with nut tightened clamp? What do you think of the beam's light pattern of the tested headlights? When I've looked a bicycle headlights a circular bean seems common. Next modified beam pattern being a lens to widen the circle. Do you think manufacturers should supply a better pattern, such as one that does not waste light upwards? And a suggestion, if your only using one headlight on the handlebars at bright setting, a hand held in front of part of the beam can protect oncoming vehicles, cyclists or pedestrains, when these occur occasionally.
The handlebar mounts for the bigger lights have a strap that tightens with a pastic nut. You can tighten it down pretty tight so it's not going anywhere. The circular lights beam is pretty omni-directional, but the others are pretty good at aiming most of the light down to the ground.
Great video Brother, you pointed me in the right direction. People like to say "Chinese Junk"😂. I remind them that almost everything they have is made in China, including their expensive name brand stuff.
U, Hambini, and Leonard. My top 3 cycling channels. I'm about sick of a few of the other u tube channels. Like, really sick. Good job... And Chinese carbon ftw. On that note. I'm loving my tantan seraph x1... Mostly. Lots of flex in the rear (could be the Ican wheels). I actually burned a hole in my 28mm gp5k tl and ruined it with less than 500 miles on it. 25s are a much better fit... Only the brake pads hit the track... Only the biggest hills and hardest sprints. I'll be building a disc brake etap bike next year. Considering an elves falath. Can you maybe do a closer look at some of the "brands"? Tantan, workswell, elves, etc..
I've never actually ridden a Seraph, seen a few in the flesh, I'll be honest I'm not a big fan. But, they're pretty cheap I guess. I guess I need to ride one to judge properly.
Thanks for the reply, as your channel grows, I'm sure it gets harder to do so. I have no real frame of reference for my seraph... Giant defy with Sora and a trek hybrid... I have more than a few KOMs on the seraph... One I took from a current TDF rider. That being said, my lack of experience and ability to compare is a major reason I, for one, would really enjoy and appreciate some looks at the higher quality frames.. Why they are, why the seraph may not be (ie rear triangle flex). Thanks again
I bought a Fenix BC35R a little under 2 years ago on AliExpress. It turned out to be junk: it shows all the signs of a depleted battery as the light goes off sometimes only 5 minutes into operation. Once in a while the battery will last an hour (which is still way too short).
I have gaciron 800 but no i want 1600 but not for the intensity because the 800 it is really good but 1600 it is bigger so i will have a lot more time using the 200 lumens opttio, or 400 lumens, even 800 it will last linger now... I think it is the best rechargeble battery a man can have for any purpose.
Thnx you so much for sharing info about all the Chinese products you test, it's very much appreciated, after seeing your review of the sensie group set, I've ordered it can you pls do some reviews about gravel or cyclo cross carbon frames & Cranks?
You have it backwards, while Chinese make most of the lights on the market, those lights are designed and engineered by the companies that charge more in America. The Chinese simply take those designs and after they are done producing the expensive brands, produce the cheap ones, in other words they are counterfeits. Also want's not told is how well will they warranty those lights? I know a lot of people who bought Chinese made stuff directly from the manufacture, had a warranty issue and got no response whatsoever, I have that going on right now with a pair of cycling shorts. I knew of people who did manage to get a response, told to send the unit in, which they do, but then never hear from them again. So what guarantee do we have that we won't be treated the same with a warranty issue? there is no guarantee, there are reasons why you want to pay more.
What Light did you recommend to use in your helmet? I already have a Light to put im my bars, but want another one for the helmet to see the road way ahead.
I'm interested to know whether their claim for running time with the lowest brightness (not strob setting) are true, say for the towild 1600 for 27hours. If you get the time to test them. Appreciate the effort and kudos for the video!
Haha, the 4hr test took over my dining room table for too long. Trying to test 27hrs my wife may have something to say =P I think as a general rule of thumb if you half the power (lumens) you double the battery life (time.) So, you can work out most from that.

Omg great detailed video, thanks a lot appreciated. I have a question, is Rockbros br1600 and towild br1600 are the same light? Because they look like the same. Which one is better?
I have a so called 2500 lumen headlight. It is extremely bright. Then I got a so called 5000 lumen triple beam head mounted light and it's dangerous in the city. The lumens are probably exasherated (sorry about my spelling) but they are ridiculously bright. When car's hit me with their brights, I show them what real light is. Stay safe brother's.
I better buy two Convoy s2+ with exchangeable 18650 batteries and get the same brightness of 1800 lumens. Changing batteries is much more practical than charging the flashlight, in my opinion.
Have you considered Cygolite in California, USA? They have their own proprietary battery stick which fit some models, but it probably has a lower mAh rating than the top of the line 18650 battery. Another advantage of most Cygolites is the solid mount that will keep the lightt aimed well.
@@gorsh4223 , you can look Cygolite up on their website at www.cygolite.com . There lights are more expensive than the Chinese headlights featured on China Cycles's video. If you are still interested in taking a look, check the website for the Expilion series & their rechargeable battey sticks. Cygolite also has other series that use external rechargeable batteries and more that use different replaceable priority rechargeable batteries.
Thanks for this review. Never heard of these brands before. I was searching for an affordable light without those high prices. Looked up for Gaciron in Lazada and bought V9C 800. @@ozan3076 First i bought the Lezyne light with the idea to use it for mountain biking only. And then I doscovered the Chinese replica EasyDo on Ali Express, and decide to buy it , and to make a comparison test . Also , I don't wanted to have my expensive Lezyne stolen during my daily work and I start using the EasyDo. I never used them on the full capacity of 1000 lumens, it's to strong for the oncoming trafic. Tha Chinese light last two years including the winters(with one service to dry the electronic components from incide after one day under havy rain) , and the original Lezyne from month of March untill September. One down side for both is that the rubber strap get weaken and crack for less than a half year daily use. Now I will looking for a Chinese light with better attaching systhem.

By far the single most helpful and insightful bike light comparison video I've ever seen. The fact that you took time to not only do a full unboxing/specs walkthrough, but then do a comparison on a dark road gives me the best picture possible of how good these lights are and how they compare to each other. Thank you!
Thanks! It was a pain in the arse to make, so glad to see it's useful.

Just received my Gaciron in Brazil, I'm very happy with the quality. Thanks for the review, would love to see some more products reviewed

I work in an technical field and know what they are really worth, you are so spot on with your review...
bugs? you are so pathetic man
These are usually made in the same factory. The big brands design the light, the factory copies it and sells it loads cheaper. I bought a beard trimmer from Amazon recently and it's better than any top branded I've ever owned and 1/4 the price
i bought a magicshine 8000lm light and its works great.
I have gaciron 1600 lumens and I am very satisfied. We are going downhill in the night and the light is amaizing.
I appreciated this video. I’ve been watching a lot of reviews about different brands of heights at different power levels and have no idea I could essentially get the same thing for a fraction of the price if I knew what to look for. Good job!!!!
Good bullshit!
That's good to hear! Obviously I only used these for a few months, so it''s good to hear from people who have used them longer.
Oh dear, I've just spent 400 smackers on a new Exposure Maxx D
You don't do things by halves, do you? You should have gone to see if Belinda with the Bazookas had anything. I dunno though, I can see why people are wary of Chinese manufacturing for carbon (OK, actually, no i can't) but mass-produced consumer electronics I think it's a no-brainer.

Thanks Conor. One day at a time :)
Extremely useful! I've been looking for this kind of review. Thanks for sharing!
Hope it helped!
Great job with the comparison. I was looking for a good alternative and you were able help me find what I needed!
Glad I could help!
That Towild BR-1600 is similar to my night rider that I had back then and with the beam pattern.
Used gaciron for my backpacking in the middle of nowhere and it never let me down. Thanks!
Great to hear!
Nice. Looking forward to what you think of the rear light.

Alas, nowhere on the Internet have I seen shooting a light spot of bicycle headlights or bicycle lights from a quadrocopter, but many people need this, for example, those who drive along winding forest paths and even side illumination is important to them. If there is such an opportunity, they could try such a test.
Can you make a video on the brightest tailights?
Awesome review. Thank you ☺️. It would be nice to see how the top Chinese lights perform against the major brands'.
"You will see the light at the end of the tunnel"

It would be a WONDERFUL service if when you list these lights below the video, you include these crucial data so people don't have to go to every light webpage to MAYBE get the information (often not included by seller):
1) Lithium battery type? (this *assumes* Lithium battery is used)
((e.g. 4x 18650; 2x 21700; 2x 26650, "foil" pouch; etc) and if possible the *configuration* (e.g. 1S1P;2S1P; 2S2P; etc) and *claimed* mAh of each cell in the battery)
2) IF POSSIBLE, maximum current and battery pack voltage (depends on configuration)
3) Wide or narrow beam focus LENS? (e.g. spot or "fog" light)
4) What KIND of lens is used? (e.g. simple convex, simple reflector, TIR (Total Internal Reflection))
5) Is case approx 90 to 100% metal (provides some heatsinking) or mostly plastic (none or minimal heatsinking)
6) CONFIRMED LED type/number and manufacturer (e.g. T6/Nichia; T6/Cree; XM-L2/Samsung; etc)
Manufacturer/seller claims of Lumens, Watts, and "runtime hours" are often either wildly inflated or outright lies so actual hard data on battery and LED types and configurations are useful data.
I do realize it's a lot of extra work and getting inside some light cases can be very challenging.
Please review the new Gaciron Raptor 3000. Planning to buy one.
Thank you.
Where did you buy it from? The point of sale should be able to put you in touch with the manufacturer!

Didn't waste your time at all. It great when we can get some objective tests on things that come from Chinese suppliers as it is really hard to filter what is good on Fleabay and Aliexpress. Great vid mate.
Can you do a video for tail lights also from China including options for aero seat posts
I think the cheapest one is good enough to ride in a city. The main reason you got light there is to be seen and you don't need a lot of lumens for that.
No words about those lights beam cut-off features and light distribution charts or pictures of the light distributon on the vertical white wall outdoor...
Put a great battery on 'em, they'll do great.
The main problem with bicycle lights, is they are not beam shaped, so anyone in your front gets blinded. In cars you get beam shaping so light doesnt go up.
Great! Now these are either priced higher or unavailable

Excellent explanation. Please which of these two lamps is better gaciron 1600 or towild br1600?
Lights! Can't Live With Them. Can't Live Without Them!
Current price of the Gaciron 1600 is €58 which is not bad at all
As a delivery cyclist who uses lights constantly I would like to see how these lights perform after a few months.
My Towild is still working great, and takes a fairly standard battery if you ever need to get a replacement.
I am now thinking that for a regular commute something like gaciron 400 would be fitting, which is perfect for me
Yeah, 400 to 800 is fine.
Just a heads up. Don't buy any lights from x-tiger, the rechargeable batteries they use are the cheapest batteries of the worst quality and not the mAh stated in the description. My front light was ok but starting loosing power after only a few months.
Thanks for the tip!
It's odd not to see an actually not round reflector light represented. Infun GT-200 that is actually pretty good. Bit more on the flood side than throw but works quite well.

Dark at 4pm? That's crazy. Sounds cold too! Glad the video was useful.
China Cycling only zero to a few minus degrees during the day lately. I think by December 21st the sun rises after 10am and sets by like 3pm or something. But then it doesn’t get dark for like 6weeks in summer so you can ride forever without even thinking about lights!!
Is there any regulation on bike lights? I feel it is not friendly to pedestrians sometimes: too bright and blind/dazzle people.
Which one is the absolute brightest and most compact?
Edited to add:
This is easily seen in this video when you look at demonstrations of how bright a light is when shined on his hand.

Only leaves my with a couple comments:
Do any of those headlights use solid handlebar mount with nut tightened clamp?

Sir, which is better in every way Rockbros r3 1000 Or Gaciron 1600?
I bought a Fenix BC35R a little under 2 years ago on AliExpress. It turned out to be junk: it shows all the signs of a depleted battery as the light goes off sometimes only 5 minutes into operation. Once in a while the battery will last an hour (which is still way too short).
Yeah, sorting the treasure from the trash is tough; thus this channel was born.

Hey buddy, First I hope you have been recovered. Second, which one would you pick for mtb towild 1800 or Gaciron 1800? Thank you in advance ✌
I usually use whichever is at the top of my box of lights - they really are very similar. Get whichever you can get easier.
Do you know if any of these can be charged while in use? Main feature I've been looking for in a light but it never gets mentioned
Very nice review! I see some 10k+ lumen lights in various places. Are they not that great? Short battery life etc?
It's gonna need a huge battery which is going to be pretty heavy, and you're just gonna blind anyone else on the road.
I really wanted to do a Chinese light but for MTB and how I want to ride I can't have it fail on me or give me trouble 16 miles from my car
The Gaciron V9C waterproofing is bad!!! I rode in the rain a couple of times and water sipped in causing it to go bizarre!!
@@ChinaCycling so for towild 1600 with lowest lumen theoretically can be used for 20 hours then. :)
Yes, jes right
Most of premium bike light made from re-branded chinese bike light

Omg great detailed video, thanks a lot appreciated.
I have a question, is Rockbros br1600 and towild br1600 are the same light?
Because they look like the same. Which one is better?
Probably the same, but I don't know for sure.
We have manufacture both of them.
@@weldonyoung1013 Never heard of those
@@gorsh4223 , you can look Cygolite up on their website at www.cygolite.com .
Seriously you should review Ravemen lights they are far better than the crop you reviewd.
I have a gaciron 800, but the battery ends too fast. :/
3h in flash mode.
Thanks for this review. Never heard of these brands before. I was searching for an affordable light without those high prices. Looked up for Gaciron in Lazada and bought V9C 800. Its cheap comparing to others with 800 lumens. Well built, bright flood light and the most important it comes with a remote switch (the feature I was looking for) which makes it very convenient to switch the modes without taking my hand off the bar.
