I'm paraphrasing here but, Taka (vocalist) once said that because of how the Japanese culture is, rock would never die in Japan. Formed in 2005, OOR is one of, if not the, biggest Japanese rock band. They have such positive attitude towards music and their fans and it shows in their live performances.

In September, ONE OK ROCK will start their North American Tour 2022. The application has started tickets.In I want to go on an American tour. 😄

the band is a rock band but their song are so versatile. they can do pop, metal, ballads, emo and more. The band consist of 4 member, Taka (the lead singer) has a hella of voice. if u want to see how far his vocal range can go u should check his cover of adele-hello, he sang the same note as adele. Toru (band leader/guitarist), Ryota (basist), Tomoya (drummer). Each member of this band is hella talented in their very own department. The band also famous for their live performances, check it out if u curious why the live is better than MV .

On that note… if you want more unpredictable Japanese metal, I cannot recommend Paledusk enough! I suggest starting with BLACK ICE or Happy Talk. These guys are one of the most exciting bands atm 🖤
