I'm so thankful my church has weekly women's bible studies and weekly men's bible studies. This year each women's bible chooses which book(s) of the bible they want to study. I think my group will be studying one of the Gospels. If I'm recalling correctly, the men's groups will be studying the same passages of scripture. I believe it will be the Parables of Jesus. If your church doesn't have bible studies where you dig directly into scripture without a guide book, I highly recommend getting together with some friends and inductively study the Bible. Do this for a year and then show your church how much you've grown studying the Bible in this way.
