The bear symbol for markarth being attributed to ulfric always bothered me. He can't be older than 60 (and I think a good deal younger than that) are we meant to believe that the city adopted a new emblem and abandoned its old one just in recent decades? It seems more likely that the bear was already a symbol of markarth and Ulfrc embodied it's spirit such that the people of markarth raised him to mythic status. I don't know I'm gonna go reread the bear of markarth
