Well it does work, last time I found myself an enemy pos 4 PA, which was a bit annoying in laning stage but in the end she was carried by their cores, though she have some impact by frickin warding and buying disables
You only need one hero that can 1v5 to win, so five chances is the best strat!
Guyse lets shut down their pos 1. Oh no they have 4 pos 1. Youre ganking one or two or three are free farming lol.

The funny thing is, if Time square was the ability Void originally had, and this patch had introduced Chrono, people would be talking about how dog sh!t an ability it is. "It doesn't give me any attack speed, it disables my allies within it and gets them killed, what an absolutely horrible facet" 😂

I doubt that considering Chrono is still better, I understand your point but if Time Zone actually performed well it would make more sense. An AOE hard stun in dota is always going to be insanely strong especially if it’s compared to a field that slows projectiles and attack speed. But to the contrary voids kit would likely be a lot different without Chrono so it might synergise worse if it was brought in as a facet? Thats the problem with these ult changers, the heroes (especially ones like void) are balanced around such a strong ulti, that’s why time zone seems sucky because is balanced around having an AOE 5 second hard stun.
Maybe early on when people don't understand it but overtime it will prove to be better than time square. Can you say the same for Time square? If it were up to me, I think adding a bkb-piercing silence on top of time square will make it an actual contender to Chronosphere.

Not really, with Chrono he might've not caught shaker and would have much less attack speed even with Mjollnir. He also might've not caught ES in which he would get stunned. Timezone makes slow casters like shaker almost as useless as Chrono, the only difference is haste and Eul's.

we all know he's coping and trying to prove his point ... most of the players agree this facet is trash (timezone). if the other team has shadow demon or a Disruptor their his ult is useless
I just think people need to draft more CC to combo with Timesquare. Maybe a Magnus, Shaker, or even a Disruptor? Something to keep them in the zone longer to make up for the lack of CC from chrono.

The problem isn't that Time Zone is a bad ability, it's that Chrono is a win condition. No matter how strong they make Time Zone, Chrono is still an Aoe Multi second stun, with the potential to win the teamfight that decides the game. Why would I take the potential value of Time Zone, When I have consistent value from Chrono.
You could see near the end there just how overpowered void's allied became in time zone. But the entire game was spent ulting to disable the enemy. I feel like void should be a counter-initiator waiting for the enemy to jump the rest of his team.
I think you have it backwards. Time Zone is the consistent one that always has some value, where Chrono is potentially game changing but inconsistent. Even pro players have games where they can't hit a single decent Chrono.
@@Migrean this reminds me of arteezy a couple of months ago it was a pro game the enemy team just had cent run in his face with IO while the other were fighting and stuff he as a void cant really chrono them because Io is very expendable and when he tried to get close to the enemy team they would just scatter leaving him no way to choron effectively with the 230 or somethign atk spd in that case bro could legit probably kill cent and Io alone though there's debate there but it would be certainly more useful than chrono because there's the psychological ''pressure'' of hitting a good chrono else it's wasted

@@ahipmom3104 True, but hitting a decent Time Zone is considerably easier than hitting a decent Chrono. The struggle w Chrono has always been making sure it hits as few allies as possible, which is always difficult in team fights where allies and enemies are bunched up together. The opposite is true with time zone, since you WANT as many allies in the square as possible, so it's much easier just throw it down in a fight and get maximum benefit, unlike Chrono which can outright lose a fight on its own if it hits too many of your teammates
Is it not better to by maelstrom instead of buying midas? You get to farm early and get stats from maelstrom.

I get that AA sucks to have in lane with you, but as a counterpick to Slark AND Jug it seems decent, assuming it was picked after them in draft.
I feel like chronosphere is better when the enemy is hard to catch (like the spirits for example), but time zone is better when you need to kill a tanky guy or if you have a fellow right clicker who can benefit from it.
nah, its really useful against those type of heroes like void. it leashes.
so for instance, am can't tp, you cant blink dagger, force staff spirits movement abilities gets locked and spell casters take FOREVER to cast.
its really good against sf in general too since his cast spped is garbage, his attack speed is reduced and it PIERCEs bkb.
the only problem is the duration feels shitty and and they can wind walker/boots of bearing/ disperser out. so you either wait out the ult or man fight his entire team in it for 6 seconds.
It's specially good if the tanky enemy has blademail. Instead of dying in 4 seconds, you'll die in just 2. 🤣
@@Resh-3221 I feel like with everything you said, chrono still does it better. Can't blink, can't TP, force, dagger, heroes can't cast. I feel like with chrono, it also does all that, but better.
@@Ramza10th but it wont be a wall for both teams to just throw in shit. you can charge in with them like wraith king and naga while also boosting your teams cast speed, attack speed, speed while also slowing the enemies projectiles with faceless passive.
its definitely niche but its something to consider since you can lock half of the abilities of some character while also slowing the attack speed of every illusion hero. piercing bkb is also a big help.

I think the reason people pick void as their carry is because he can lock down people and kill them with his ult, plus he has a good escape mechanism, not to make his team stronger. If you want your team stronger, you can get heroes like io, maybe ogre and play as support. You don't initially think of void when you plan to buff up your team.

That was just terrible choice on skills for the AA's part, the right click is more or less one small hit for a skill point as support and if you know the lanes going to jump on your carry the stuns far better... still yeah, AA got slapped with a god awful facet.
The only good thing about the right click in lane is that it's a nuke that doesn't give stick charges
With all the new skills because of the facet, I think it's time to give some Arcana/Immortal cosmetics to some, like Void Arcana Time Square,
This game shows why having a team of carries doesn't work, its not just about the early game radiant did well early but even though they had 4 carries that were doing well and could do a lot of right click damage they had horrible teamfighting and lockdown.
The only one with a good teamfighting ult and stuns was shaker meanwhile dire had tons of stuns lockdown and teamfighting ability.
Who cares if you can rightclick hard if you are unable to do it in fights

21:55 I'm listening to your rant here. Can't mask of madness just give you the attack speed you're getting from time zone? Isn't that why madness is a recommended item for void? Madness gives 110 attack speed, equivalent to a level 2 time zone.
If your argument is that if you get time zone, then you won't need to get madness, that would be insane. Imagine playing void with chrono, not leveling up chrono because you already have madness. It would be really terrible, imagine replacing your ult for a 1900 gold item. If you can get the output of your ult with just a 1900 item, then just get the 1900 item, and stick with your original ult skill, the skill that can lock everyone in place so you can hit them with your attack speed item. Most problem of carries encounter is that they get kited. They got a ton of damage, but can't hit. So if you have the option to lock your enemies in place for 4 seconds, or to get attack speed, wouldn't locking the enemy be better?
If you wanna say that it also gives attack speed to your allies, then that would also be a terrible argument since you keep saying that time zone void should be played as a core. If that's your reasoning, then cores should be getting drum most of the time because it gives attack speed to allies. The thing is, buffs to allies are normally built or used by supports. Solar crest for example. So my thought with time zone is, if you wanna power up your core, you can use void as a support that builds drum, crest, and use all those on your core. Or maybe just play ogre and max bloodlust so you don't have to wait 120 seconds to buff up your core.
If you wanna build void as a core, then just get the chrono. Really, the best and only argument I can get behind when people get time zone is because it's "New and fun", and people want to "try new things" cause Dota is a game. That's it. Trying to reason that it's a good ult is just really awful.
It could be good if there is continuous dispel to enemies inside time zone, if void gets a percentage of backtrack when he's inside time zone, if enemy move speed can not be increased while inside time zone (or the dispel is already good enough), aside from being leashed of course. Should they add a lingering effect for enemies if they got out of the time zone? Yes they should. If some of these are added, then it could be good, but as it stands now, it can't hold a candle to chrono.
Youre commenting on a game where I went midas/treads/mael, which all stack up attakspeed. I'm not making the case that you dont need attackspeed with time's square, I just think its an underrated and honestly absurdly strong facet when you understand the benefits and lmitations of it.
If you dont like it, dont play it. Not trying to change people's minds, but if they tell me "people can walk out of time's square, ITS BAD!" then thats like saying that Death Ward is a bad ulti because it doesnt stun people. They dont understand that time zone is not trying to be chronosphere, its a different ability.
@@WagaGaming If you did get chrono instead of timezone and get madness, mael, bkb, would still work the way it did, but easier, right? Then you can upgrade to mjolnir instead of gleipnir for that much needed attack speed.
I don't really think that death ward is a good comparison, cause from WD's skill set, he does have cask that can hold the enemy in place (depending on how you use it of course), and maledict to secure the kill even if the enemy gets out of death ward. Same with Disruptor's ult, people can easily walk out of it, but he does have kinetic field. I think you could compare it to phoenix's ult? Maybe? Cause people usually do walk out of it, but I never considered it as useless, not the egg, static field, or even time zone.
My point here is on void, if you were to use either time zone or chrono, on what would work better with him and his skills, on how you use and play void, which one just works better?
As void, if your goal is to lock down a pesky core and delete him so you could win team fights, then chrono would be the obvious choice, right? The thing is most people do pick void for the escape mechanism, some choose him for the time dilation, but let's be honest, we normally go for void if we wanna lock down someone and just kill them.
Again, if you just wanna play and have fun, I really have no beef with time zone. I played time zone multiple times on normal games with friends, we did got some wins, and some losses, but we had fun, and that was the point. For me at least. But if I wanna win, I'd either choose a hero meant for the matchup, or get void with chrono if the situation demands it.
I still can't behind time zone being underrated, because the other option for the said hero just works better for that specific hero and his use case. It's just rated as it should be.

I feel that pos 5 morphs pain. You morph into wrong hero and suddenly you’re useless whole team fight. Morph needs to have an ability to release transformations like Kirby in smash.

The way I see it games are always either gonna be utter shit because my team is too stupid and toxic to win or they’re really fun because I queued with the 20% of the player base that are functional humans. If I’m support me playing morph doesn’t change that.
