We saw three amazing cities in three quick days! We are so lucky to have friends scattered along the East Coast, and when Olivia and Sophia invited us up to visit their hometowns, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity (mostly because we hadn’t seen them in forever). Both Richmond and D.C. were filled with rich pockets of history and endless signs of protest, while Columbia welcomed quiet farmlands and a quickly growing city. We are cleaner and fresher than ever; our bellies are full of good food (that wasn’t cooked in the van); and we are ready to get back on the road. I do see the museum is closed, but there are some interesting things to see outside of the buildings. It is worth the time and I think you would appreciate it!
