We went to Coco Beach too didn't care for it. Every time we stop there now, we stay on the ship. I wish they would have better ports of call for The Oasis from NJ.
I truly do not know why is this a port of call. We however like to get of the ship and at list walk at the port but there is nothing at the terminal there. Royal stops at Charleston too. I do not understand that one either.
My relatives booked this for their honeymoon. She’s never cruised before & doesn’t know any better. There’s hardly anything to do at port Canaveral. I hope it doesn’t give her a bad impression of cruising. I wouldn’t pay good money for a cruise going to port Canaveral, leaving from there, yes, but as a port of call is just a waste of money.
I agree to some extent. We paid very little for interior cabins. Really wanted to take the kids on an Oasis class ship without spending on plane tickets. I hope your relatives enjoy their sailing. For honeymooners, at Port Canaveral I would probably just stay on the ship and enjoy the solarium without the crowds.
I agree. Port canaveral is one of the ports of call on most Bahamas cruises from NJ/NY area. I normally use it as a port to chill see family that lives in Orlando and then head to the Bahamas. But I agree, I wouldn’t pay a lot of money to take a cruise to this port, not much to do. I would say it’s better to book a cruise to Bermuda for 7 days. It lets you stay in Bermuda for 3 days so you can really enjoy the island. Best cruise i ever took. Such a beautiful Island
It actually was very nice. Family friendly environment. Has everything you need for a simple, easy day at the beach. Like I say if not caribbean beach but it's a great alternative if you don't want to go to the theme parks or go shopping on this port stop.
I've never paid to rent an umbrella at a beach. I feel like they are one of the biggest rip offs. They should be provided by the towns with all that tax paying revenue OR if a business is doing it thats something that should be CHEAP!
Those prices are outrageous if you think about it. However, I try not to. I learned that thinking about prices during vacation stopped us from doing many things. It was less enjoyable and we regretted it later. Now I just get what I need and enjoy it. I let the locals worry about what ever is happening there. I'm just a tourist passing by. It's actually much nicer that way. Keep traveling! We will be there again in June.

It should stop at Miami instead. It’s also on its way to Bahamas but much more to do, don’t understand why this is a port instead of Miami
@@bestatsea1415 Anthem has added Miami to Port of call starting November with one more night
Is the water murky?
@@mariabrown400 Yes. It was actually greenish. I believe that you don't get clear water until you get closer to Miami.
Great video!
What video camera are you using?
I just use my Samsung Note 10+ cell. I edit the videos in it too using VLLO.
